On the news tonight they were showing all the ladies getting ready for Melbourne Cup and they had some footage of the fashion parade finalists. I was really bored by it. Everyone was wearing a little cocktail dress, heels and some kind of asymmetrical askew hairpiece with structural accessories. Don’t get me wrong, they all looked lovely. And identical. Tomorrow I shall be attending a Melbourne Cup lunch at my friend’s house. I have done this every year since I was 19. This year I have decided to go a little controversial with my attire. I can’t show you yet (in-case any of my crew read my blog before tomorrow!) but here is a clue…
