With today being Chinese New Year I have worn my new socks and didn’t wash my hair. Hence the head scarf covering the hideous birds nest I woke up to this morning. Today was crazy busy even though I got in early and I am leaving late. This afternoon I have Pilates and I think the instructor is starting to question my commitment to the class because I keep falling asleep. I just can’t stay awake while lying on the comfy mat with the plinky plunky music going! Then I am off to rehearsal. I’m starting to get very tired… But it’s nearly the weekend!

Hailey – I think it’s better safe than sorry hey? I think it’s lovely that some cultures have beautiful little rituals like that. We don’t have anything like that in Australia really. I guess because we are such a new and multicultural country.
