JB - It's Mr Smaggle, not me. He is allergic to wheat and it's really difficult for him to find yummy treats. So I just make them for him!

I switch stuff sometimes with those multiple earring packs and with toys and I am ashamed. But I still do it.
PS, what's up with no gluten? Is it a diet/health thing?

Emily - It's so easy! You just get shredded coconut and chuck it in a bowl. Then wear some surgical gloves, wet them cold water and shake off the excess. Then put a few a drops of green food colouring in and rub it through with your fingers. It's best to take it slow with adding the food colouring because you can always add more. Then you just sprinkle on the icing of the cake and it sticks!

Mrs Munk - I didn't forget! I have it written in my diary and everything.

Ivy - Thanks love. I look a lot less like a trashbag today. And feeling a lot less like balls.

Qin - Thanks! I love this skirt it was $60 reduced to $10 and I was actually willing to pay $60 for it so it was a real bargain.

Nadine - Oh how lovely of you, thank you.

Lucy-Jane - I had one of those cakes! They called the Dolly Varden. Mama Smaggle was a crazy cake baker in the 80's.

Selina - We are both masters of consumer crime. We should start a themed mafia!

Cookie - Oh am I a craft-hero? That's so exciting! The green stuff is coloured coconut. And it's a vanilla cake with vienna icing and double chocolate biscuits. :-)

Elisha - That's where the cake is from! it's all about the Women's Weekly Kids Birthday Cake book. Did you know that they are still printing it? Mental.

Wendy B - It was even funnier in real life. There was a massive elephant in the pack that was just comical but I left him off because he took up half the cake.

The Clothes Horse - Oh thank you! It was so much fun making it.

Andrea Mitchell - Cool, like Gumby?

I think the ridiculous out-of-proportion-ness of the animals adds to the glory of the cake.

(I also sense a children's stop-motion animation show in the making - the adventures of tiny plastic animals in Cakeland).
