Lamb – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
Well. What a bloody irritating day today is. I’m experiencing a myriad of irritation today so I apologise for the tone of this post. Today I hate tigers, alpha-hydroxy, fools, models and Katies. I’m just about to leave work to do some shopping before I head to my friends house for dinner… * Opaques from Myer * Skirt from SES * Singlet top from Stock Jeans * Cardigan from uni markets * Shoes from Read the rest!

Clothing for your cat… Seriously.

by Carly Jacobs
I’m currently stitching my sides back together after I visited this insane website that I found in Vice magazine. It’s called The Tailor of a Cat and the title is fairly self explanatory. Now some people think this borders on animal cruelty but I am beyond caring. It’s too damn funny not to share. This wacky woman actually makes these little costumes for cats and sells them on the net! The photo Read the rest!

Alber Elbaz gives me a DIY hankering…

by Carly Jacobs
Susie Bubble recently wrote a post about Alber Albaz and his lady t-shirt collection. She admitted to a guilty amount of coveting where the t-shirt is concerned and I have to admit I’m having similar guilt… but only because I intend on ripping it off the first chance I get. How cute is it? Actually I can’t be that sure of the cuteness of the shirt because where Chloe is concerned, every thing is c Read the rest!

Gallery Saturday – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
I’ve had an incredibly busy weekend so I’m really sorry for being such a lazy blogger. On Saturday I made delicious wheat free treats and had some friends over for morning tea. Then we wandered around the art gallery and had a relaxing lunch and hot chocolate in the afternoon. Then I went out with the Smaggles for dinner for Mama Smaggle’s birthday. Today I did washing, baked a few slices and had Read the rest!

How to create the perfect retro hairdo…

by Carly Jacobs
Have I introduced you to the Fashion Freelancer’s Blog yet? I have the biggest girl crush on her. She has this amazing, exaggerated 1950′s style, she is covered in the most beautiful of tattoos and she is a ridiculously talented freelance designer. Enough said. I have to share with you her fabulous tutorial on how she does her hair. I love a blogging how-to… Do yourself a favour and take some t Read the rest!

Pirate Pants Part 2 – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
“Well I guess it all started the first time I went through the second grade. I caught my reflection in a spoon while I was eating my cereal, and I remember thinking “wow, you’re ridiculously good looking, maybe you could do that for a career.” I had to quote my delicious Derek Zoolander as I think my Blue Steel face today is really quite exceptional. This afternoon I’m off to have cof Read the rest!

What’s your style trademark?

by Carly Jacobs
I was watching the Sex and the City movie a few evenings ago (read my review here) and I noticed that Carrie was wearing a single long string of pearls through out the whole movie. With pyjamas, out for dinner, in bed, lounging at home. I thought this was INCREDIBLY cool. So now I’ve been thinking that I would really like to try a few trademarks out. Like wearing flower rings everyday for 3 months or wearing Read the rest!

Pirate Pants – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
Today was super busy again but only because I had to go to the supermarket at lunch time. I had a grand time trying to dodge all the people with zero spacial awareness and mothers with prams who think they own Coles. This woman gave me the filthiest look as I squeezed past her massive pram and the kid inside was like 5 years old! Make the little bastard walk, what the hell is wrong with you? This afternoon Bro Read the rest!
