Collingwood Colours – Daily Style

I had the most bizarre experience today. I have had the same best friend for 15 years (since I was 9 years old) and her family have become my family. I saw her dad today for the first time in a few months and he has shaved his whole beard off and I’m shocked to discover that he actually has a face. It was so jarring – like he has been wearing a mask for 15 years. He said I was wearing Collingwood colours… I assume he meant a football team.

I’m just about to finish work and have a relaxing cocktail with my gay husbands Matt and Ged.

Your black and white ensemble is endlessly elegant my dear.

It’s weird when you don’t see people for ages and they do something drastic with themselves. I didn’t see my mother for like three months once, and she lost 15 kilos during that time. I walked past her when I was meant to see her next, completely oblivious to who she was. Such a shock.

Beardless ppl are quite shocking when you’re so used to a beard…I’ve not recognised ppl on the street when ppl do drastic things like that…

Did he look better or worse? I once convinced my roommate who was in love with me to shave his goatee off. He looked so weird because he had no chin. Needless to say he grew it back instantly. I never said it looked worse but I think he knew. He was a sweet guy, to this day he always wears a goatee, and I think he should.

I love your ensemble, I still haven’t tried on the shoes because I am worried I will want them, and then shell out the money I am trying to save for vacationing.

OH! Once when I was 7 my dad shaved off his mustache, I was so shocked that I cried for hours! So he let it grow back and since that incident he has NEVER shaved his mustache. It is traumatizing actually.

I can’t believe it, I looked on facebook tonight for the first time in forever and saw your smaggle style post and thought you just looked stunning so clicked to finally tell you how awesome Lady Smaggle is and saw what you wrote about Dad haha I know doesn’t he look so different!! it’s crazy the first time in my life I’ve seen his whole face:)he shaved it off just before they came back from their trip to Spain.
