Bad Face Day – Daily Style
My outfit shots have been sparse recently because my work buddy Browny is still away. Living it up in Japan last I heard – the bitch. I’m also doing this weird thing where I incorrectly predict the weather and I’m either really cold or really hot all day and therefore I get too cranky to take my picture. I’m temperamental like that.
And today my outfit is probably the most unspectacular thing I have ever worn. So here are some shots to show off my lovely new earrings and eye shadow… shame about the face.
Nothing like a few unceremonious self portraits hastily snapped in the ladies.
The earrings come courtesy of Mr Smaggle from Moma in N.Y. – he loves that store and it’s fast becoming his favourite present buying location. I LOVE these earrings. They are made of rubber and are so light I can hardly notice that I’m wearing them. I love the way they get all tangled in my hair too. The gorgeous eye shadow is from my girl Gina. I requested ‘crazy, awesome coloured eye shadow’ and boy did she deliver. It’s much better in real life. It’s a fabulous metallic apple green. Perfect for summer!
I’m off to cook chicken salad for dinner and then I’m off to rehearsal…
Love Lady Smaggle

You have really nice eyes! And those earrings are gorgeous, well done Mr Smaggle.
You look great, and I love the earrings!
yum, chicken salad! & i LOVE those earrings, they’re so awesome.
wow!! your eyes… the earings are very pretty
Was thinking of you tonight while I watched 90210…v disappointed with the lack of Jackie-action but on the positive side I heart her new face!
More earring love – also I covet your eyebrows
Your eyes look so great… and I totally adore your hair!
These look like Juergen Teller shots–except you’re far prettier than the people he shoots. & I *love* your hair. Wish I had looser curls.
i’m sure you’ve heard this before, but you have incredible curls!
want. now. earrings. please.
Someday you’ll have to tell me all your perfectly touseled hair secrets. I think we’ve got about the same thickness and texture going on, but whenever I try anything like your gorgeously mess mane, I look like a dandelion gone to seed. You, on the other hand, look superbly chic at all times. LUCKY.
Tara – Thanks! I’m pretty sure it’s from my awesome eye shadow. Mr Smaggle does have fantastic taste!
Marianne – Thanks!
Amanda – I have to say that the chicken salad was pretty brilliant. I might have for dinner again tonight…
Chic looks – Oh thank you!
Imelda – Sadly I missed last nights episode because I was at rehearsal! I hope Daddy Smaggle remembered to tape it for me…
E – Ha ha! See! I told you all I had perfect eyebrows!
Nadine – It was raining and my hair looks great when it rains. It doesn’t always look like that!
Ambika – I used to wish for looser curls but they are a little too loose for me now…
Fashion herald – Thanks! My hair was way more awesome when I was younger. I really miss it!
Na – No! Mine.
Sal – Oh I should do a hair tutorial!
That is the most beautiful face I have seen all day.(and I went to Woden Plaza!)
your hair. your hair. your hair. how DO you do it??
also, working on a dyi necklace. nude with shiny accents, can’t decide wether to glitter glue it or sew on tint silver thingys. i’ll show you when I decide either way. and either way, it’s a great idea.
when you say “shame about the face” you mean shame that you’re so freaking hot, right? c’mon lady! you’re pure sassafrass, through and through.
JB – AW! Although was there really much competition for me at the old plaza today?
Mollycake – I have nothing to say about my hair. It does it’s own thing all the time and always has done. Thank you though! It seems to be doing nice things recently! I would LOVE to see pictures of it when you finish!
April – Oh please! I’m totally sleep deprived and I look like a deranged cabbage patch doll. But thank you for saying nice things! What’s sassafrass?
Yes! Yes! A hair tutorial, por favor.
Sal – It’ll come soon I promise!
