Smaggle

Not my usual daily style…

by Carly Jacobs
These jeans are my favourite, slob around the house jeans. I usually wear them with a singlet top, thongs and head scarf while doing unimpressive things like vacuuming my car. Surprisingly Mr Smaggle thinks they are really sexy. As does Mama Smaggle. A few months ago I would rather have grated my face than wear these jeans in public but with the crazy praise that these jeans pull at my house I thought I might sne Read the rest!

SJP Top – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
Remember how I told you that I went to the Hyatt High Tea on Saturday morning with the super gorgeous Ninaribena from Canberra’s Got Style? Well here is the SJP top that I commissioned her to make for me. How fabulous is it? Miss Corrine has one on her wish list too! I suggest you get in quick if you want one because Ninaribena looks like she’s going to be one busy lady. I took the lead from the lady Read the rest!

Have a Rant Wednesday – People with Blind Rage

by Carly Jacobs
This weeks rant is aimed at a very specific mutant-douche who has been bothering me for a week. He wrote possibly the rantiest email I have ever read outlining all the reasons why I suck and that he hates my institute and he is going to, I don’t know, send me anthrax or something. For EVERY SINGLE COMPLAINT HE MADE I had a perfectly reasonable and understandable explanation as to why the event had occurred. Read the rest!

White and beige? – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
I was half asleep this morning when I decided to ditch my usual black obi belt and in a moment of unadulterated rebellion I reached for my white one instead. Oh the controversy. I don’t mind the colour combo actually… in fact, I think I may be on to something. * Skirt from Chin Chin * Top thrifted * Obi belt from DFO Melbourne * Shoes from Sportsgirl Oh the cutest thing happened today - I had the mos Read the rest!

Bad Face Day – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
My outfit shots have been sparse recently because my work buddy Browny is still away. Living it up in Japan last I heard – the bitch. I’m also doing this weird thing where I incorrectly predict the weather and I’m either really cold or really hot all day and therefore I get too cranky to take my picture. I’m temperamental like that. And today my outfit is probably the most unspectacular thin Read the rest!

Canberra Centre High Tea at the Hyatt

by Carly Jacobs
On Saturday I went to high tea at the Hyatt hosted by the Canberra Centre. I was invited along by the gorgeous Ninaribena from Canberra’s Got Style. We drank champagne, ate delicious treats and swooned over some of the fashions the Canberra Centre had to offer.  I particularly loved this backwards blouse and rhinestoned shoes. To be honest, I was a little disappointed in the men’s fashion. This Read the rest!

Business Army Barbie – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
I thought today was going to be one of those really crazy days where I don’t get to tick everything off my list but for some reason I cranked it up and I’ve found myself with EXTRA TIME at the end of the day. I don’t cope very well with spare time. Whatever shall I do? * Skirt from Munkey Business in Newtown * Bonds t-shirt… um… I know it’s not mine… I feel I may have Read the rest!

90210

by Carly Jacobs
Photo Put your hands up if you rocked 90210 on Monday night! Hell yeah! It was just about the most splendid two hours of my life. Two friends and I drank wine, ate truffles and screamed until the neighbours complained. Here are the highlights of the first ever episode… * Kelly is the school counselor and she is also in the credits which makes me think she’ll be sticking around for a while. Jenny Gart Read the rest!
