Rainy Day – Daily Style

Today was mega busy. I had to get an injection which freakin’ hurt (but I did get two jelly beans out of it) and then I went to this stretchy yoga gym class with meditation at the end. As I suspect that I have ADHD it comes as no surprise that I cannot meditate. Instead of lying in the warm stream of purple clouds I spent the 15 minutes of meditation with Tom Hanks in my head playing chopsticks on that massive floor piano. Finally at the end I managed to clear my head and then I fell asleep, which is also bad. I just can’t do relaxed.

* Jeans from Jag

* Top from DFO in Canberra

* Shoes from Nine West

* Singlet from Cowboys and Angels

* Earrings from Bijoux by Bouvier

* Knitting needle bangle from Mr Smaggle

This afternoon I’m off to meet my lovely friend for coffee which makes me happy because she is really, really pregnant and I like to rub her belly like a Buddha. Then I’m off to rehearsal.

Love Lady Smaggle

This is a gorgeous photo and I love that top.

That shirt is amazing! Love love love! Pleased that you were a good girl at the doctors and they gave you a lolly :D

  7. Tara

Gorgeous top! And I am like you when it comes to relaxation, my mind is either racing racing racing… or I fall asleep.

  8. Kate

Omg, girl, you should wear jeans more often, you`ve an AMAZING body!!! You`d rock `n roll here in Brazil!!! lol
    Love the top!
    Take care!
Ah…. and… sorry for asking but what was the injection for? (Curious? Me? nah… lol)

I love your hair! It’s always so perfectly curly cue….sigh.

Hehe, I always start to doze off during those last 15 minutes of ‘mediation’ as well. Or I lay there impatiently because I just want to hurry up and get home already to …umm…do…stuff. I’m not very good at sitting still.

Jelly beans make the world a better place. :)

I’d be the SAME WAY. Either brain buzzing away at a million miles an hour, or sound asleep.

    Still lovin’ those shoes …

Hahaha, I’m terrible at meditation too! Yet paradoxically when I’m running my own class I do fantastic guided-relaxation for everyone else . . .

You look great in those jeans, and I like your hair like that, and you look totally 80s rock diva in a completely positive and kick-arse way.

I tend to produce superhuman farts everytime I do yoga. A little sleep never hurt anyone!

    Becky.

Haha, I laughed out loud at the Tom Hanks comment! I’m crap at meditating too, I end up watching movies in my head or singing irritating little songs to myself (silently. I hope).

Maria – Well the instructor didn’t seem too supportive!

    Amanda – Thanks lady!

Gem – Totally! I had a pink one and a white one they were very splendid indeed.

Flissa – Ha! I don’t really these jeans are just magic!

Shannon – I don’t generally snore but I do wake up quite loudly when I fall asleep in places that I shouldn’t.

Scribbles – Seriously I don’t know why I don’t eat jelly beans more often.

Tara – I’m actually okay with it. It’s meditation gurus that seem to freak out about it.

Kate – It’s all in the shoes! They make me look like a giant.

Alline – Oh my gosh! That’s so lovely of you to say (my body isn’t usually what people compliment me on!). The injection was for this thing called Guardasil in Australia it’s free for women under 26 and it’s an immunisation against cervical cancer. You need three over a year and I just got my last one yesterday. They are pretty bloody painful but I imagine that cervical cancer would be way worse.

Sarah – I usually fluff it up for the photos! ;-)

Sal – Me too! They are so comfy.

Nadist – Aw thanks! Actually I’m pretty good at running meditation too!

Becky – Ha ha ha! You’re awesome!

Andrea – Seriously the dude would not get out of my head. I didn’t even think anything constructive!
