Still busy – Daily Style
Today was a tiny bit less crazy at work so I managed to sneak out and take a quick photo.
- Pants from Valley Girl
- Top from DFO in Canberra
- Shoes from Sportsgirl
- Bangle from Bollywood store
Here are a few things that are tickling my fancy this week…
- A document wallet that’s a ‘doculope’. Don’t you think that sounds like a character on Sesame Street?
- Watching almost all of Degrassi High on the weekend and saying things to Mr Smaggle like ‘What’s all this aboot? When are the basketball try-oots? You’re a broomhead!’
- Spending a stupid amount of time with my delightful fellow bridesmaid and bridesmate. Much wine and laughter has been shared in the past few weeks and it makes me all warm and gushy inside.
- One of Mr Smaggle’s friends has dubbed us ‘The Most Useful Couple’ in his life. Excellent. Not ‘The Coolest Couple’ or the ‘The Hottest Couple’. No, no. We got ‘useful’. We are so cutting edge.
- The fact people STILL read Smaggle even though it’s in a mega stage of sucking right now. Oh and all the people who continue to comment despite the fact that I’m not replying. I love you guys. And I am reading your comments and crying myself to sleep every night because I don’t have time to reply. Really. I am.

I’m planning a Canberra Bloggers cocktail party for some time in the future (November/December-ish) which has my inner host(ess) abuz with the excitment of entertaining the Bloggeratti.

Please don’t cry, Smaggsy. It’s just a blog. It’s Not Real. I am super-busy, too. My ballet school’s first-ever concert is on Sunday . . . ! (When I say ‘my’, I own it.) Today I finished 42 skirts which I have been sewing since Friday. Thank Christ for that.

LOL I would so rather be the useful friend than the cool friend. Reminds me of a wedding earlier this year when a friend threw a spaz because I didn’t have a panadol (in my defense, I was carrying the tiniest clutch purse!)… she goes “But you always have the important stuff… you’re like the Bree of the group!”…
