Print from matteart at Etsy
* Waking up with the sun on a gorgeous Sunday morning, wearing nothing but vanilla scented oil, stretched out in crisp cotton sheets, listening to Jack Johnson.
* Sharing pink champagne with one of my favourite ladies on a warm Saturday evening at a stone tuscan table, eating spring rolls.
* A tiny bag of delightful presents from Mr Smaggle from Japan. Geisha pens, a scarf, a key ring and a tiny purse. Delightful!
* Not having just one best girl friend but having about ten instead.
* Apple cider.
* Spending a truly beautiful Sunday locked in a darkened and chilly theatre… and loving every second.
* Catching up with my wife Browny after being away from her for a week.
* Boys who wear jaunty hats.
* Mama Smaggle letting Daddy Smaggle do the grocery shopping and him returning with fresh fruit, dried fruit, fruit toast, fruit slice, fruit cake and fruit and nut chocolate. Bless.
* Sharing sneaky chocolate feasts with friends and greedily not sharing with anyone else.
* Icy cold lime and mint frappes served by a cute boy with thick glasses and thousands of piercings.
What’s tickling your fancy today…?
For Becky…
Love Lady Smaggle

#1 on my “Loving” List definitely has to be that exams are over!!!! School is over for the year!!!! I get to start my teaching papers next year which is the whole reason that I am on this crazy journey 😀
I love that I have a job, even though I’m not so Polyanna to say I love my job all the time. One of my friends is in minimal employment at the moment and in serious financial strife – this job means that I am not, and that I can also band together with other friends to make sure that she has enough to fulfil her basic wants and needs.
I love sunny weekends, even if they are followed by rainy Mondays.
I love a year of making new friends, each person brings something different and valuable into your life.
I love Pixie Caramels, even though I shouldn’t eat them.
I love the fact that Mum refused to come back from her holiday and is still down in the Coromandel – sounds like the break is working wonders for her soul.
I love fascinating people!

I saw Emily Browning whilst on my way to the bank.

I love that print! So 50s. I love opening my RSS feeder to see that Lady Smaggle has posted a new blog. I love that tomorrow is my last exam and even though I have done the bare minimum amount of study, I feel quite confident. I love Vanilla Coke even though it is limited to a ‘sometimes’ treat. I love rainy, overcast days and I love that I now have my very own blog. I don’t feel like such a free-loader when I leave comments on other people’s blogs now :).

I do not love that I said ‘now’ twice in adjacent sentences :-I.

I’m currently loving:
– Other bloggers and their wonderfully-encouraging comments on my still very young blog.
– The fact that I woke up feeling a lot better this morning (but still not well enough to go into work) and thus can get on with everything I couldn’t do at the weekend because I was feeling too vile.
– Beechams all in one and high strength vitamin c drinks, see above.
– Old video games – realMyst kept me going yesterday afternoon! -
Thank you xx
