Hi poppets! Sorry for the ridiculously long absence but I’ve been on the road for five days with no internet. Freak out. Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last post. I’m walking around with this big fat head from all the gorgeousness thrown at me! Mr Smaggle and I are just about to head to Wellington so I don’t have time to upload any outfit shots but they’ll come soon I promise! In the mean time here’s a little list of Lady’s loves… New Zealand style!

* Esquires – free internet with every purchase and bloody good coffee.

* Columbus in Auckland – I had a chai frappe and it was possibly the best thing I have ever had in my life. I’m cursing the fact that they aren’t a chain.

* This awesome dresses over wide leg pants with waist belts thing that a few of the cool kiwi chicks have going on. Loving it.

* Van Damme – Our awesome camper that we have given a mega manly name to. He rocks our world. Toilet, shower, kitchen… it’s like heaven on wheels.

* Mud baths in Rotorua – Bliss face! Although HOLY SHIT THAT PLACE STINKS!

* Noodle Canteen – Piping hot, fresh noodles cooked on the spot. Super cheap and quick for travelling.

* Op shopping – To my NZ ladies you have it going ON over here! It’s like rich people just buy designer stuff all the time and throw it away. I’ve been cleaning up all along the coast.

* New Zealand – this place is MENTAL. The scenery changes every five minutes – city, beach, bush, rainforest, waterfalls, farm land – within the space of a half hour drive.

* This awesome Maori dude we met who had TATTOOS ON HIS FACE! Seriously. How do you get more manly than that?

* Mr Smaggle – He has been letting me listen to RENT The Musical, Phantom of the Opera and Whitney Housten at top volume for hours in Van Damme. He’s a keeper.

More to come soon I promise!

Love Lady Smaggle

I loved NZ when I visited early last year! If you get a chance, try zorbing in Rotorua – basically you get put in a huge plastic ball, and you roll down a hill. 😛 It’s really fun!

Wow, I wanted to visit New Zealand before, now doubly so! I suddenly have even moer reasons as to why moving there for a year after I qualify is a good idea!

Oooooh when you are in ChCh, go to Coffee Culture and get their Vanilla Chai… I swear it has magical powers! I’m glad you are enjoying your time here so much 😀 I know we rock. Are you back up in Auckland at all before you go?

Glad you’re enjoying NZ – it is pretty special. Columbus is a franchise thing I think – we have one in Tauranga! Great stuff……looking forward to seeing what loot you picked up on your travels – enjoy the rest of your trip!

Sounds like you’re having the best time ever. That place must be magical! Too bad Greece is soooo far away from it…
I’d love to see some pictures of those über stylish kiwi girls with the pants-and-dresses thing going on. Will you paparazzi for us? Please?

Hey sweetie, had to laugh about dresses over pants as NZers are addicted to them due to collective shame about our giant arses . . .

Also, it’s so cute that facial tattoos turn your crank 😀

This morning my bro-in-law was offering everyone a “chup, bro?”. I asked him what that whole beached-as-bro thing is ABOUT – he said “Aussies want to be us”. Heehee!

PS Cosmo yeah! Go you good thing! For some reason (shipping times?) we get it reeeally late over here but I will keep the eyes peeled.
