Lady loves…

* Cider on her balcony overlooking the Melbourne skyline.

* My friend’s necklace that she made. A tiny silver wheelie bin with a gold lid that you can open and close. Tre chic!

* Having three of her favourite people living so close. One of them in the bedroom next door!

* Mr Smaggle.

* The girl at school who doesn’t wear a bra and and it looks TOTALLY hot. Like Angelina Jolie rolling on a bed in nothing but a singlet and underwear.

* That the stinky Melbourne heat wave is over.

* Her new school. Peacocks roam free on the lush green grass and it’s covered with exotic plants from the horticulture department. Sigh!

Lady Loathes…

* Job searching. Please let this hell end soon!

* Financial uncertainty. It’s such a yucky feeling.

* Neglecting her blog.

* Missing Mr Smaggle. Ow.

* The Melbourne CBD. Every time I go in there I get lost or yelled at.

* The amazing shopping that I will never get to do in Melbourne.

Hey Ms Smaggle!

As a Melbourne local I was so sad to read you loathe the CBD! There are soooooooooo many treasures and joys to be found. I suppose it can be a little confusing at first but remember those kind kind town planners who set us out in a grid did us such a service – once you remember the names of the streets it’s actually fairly difficult to get lost!

Can I suggest staying away from Swanston St as much as possible because it is touristy and yuck – instead, did you know that you can make it almost all over Melbs just through the laneways? Much fun and quirkiness to be had in those lovely laneways my friend!
