Loaths:

- Not getting paid to be a makeup artist
- Having no money

Hey Ms Smaggle!

As a Melbourne local I was so sad to read you loathe the CBD! There are soooooooooo many treasures and joys to be found. I suppose it can be a little confusing at first but remember those kind kind town planners who set us out in a grid did us such a service – once you remember the names of the streets it’s actually fairly difficult to get lost!

Can I suggest staying away from Swanston St as much as possible because it is touristy and yuck – instead, did you know that you can make it almost all over Melbs just through the laneways? Much fun and quirkiness to be had in those lovely laneways my friend!

- being late to work because the ground is so slippery

Have you looked on artshub for jobs? or asked Tain about the theatre? that could be a goer.

Na loves:
- grand marnier with fresh lime wedges and lots of ice. I am now officially addicted.
- liaisons with landscapers a la Lady Chatterley’s Lover.
- proofreading. because it means I’m almost finished.

Na loathes:
- that the stinky heatwave here is still going
- overbooking myself: the play, the band, the poetry, the job, the thesis… eeep!
- blisters on the soles of my feet
