Oh that stack of suitcases!
The Vuitton is lost on me but I DO love a proper, non-plastic case – yum.
I can pack like you wouldn’t believe as my holiday luggage usually consists of 1 motorcycle pannier’s worth. Rolling, choosing crinkle fabrics, silk, thin layers. I have been known to send luggage on to a location, or home from a location (WHAT?!? I like to charity shop on holiday OK). Shoes are a problem – I try to look out for squishy fabric ones (bonus for beaded glittery ones). Outfit planning doesn’t really come into it as I usually pile on things in a haphazard way until it pleases me – also – MrE’s wardrobe is fair game (bless ‘im).

After lugging the world’s heaviest suitcase around on my last holiday, I’m now pro-packing light. I’m planning on taking a carry on bag for my next holiday!

I’d also say to wear your heaviest clothes (ie. jeans, boots etc if you want to take them with you) on the plane.

The only disadvantage is that you are so limited in what cosmetics you can pack, plus you can’t take a nail file or anything like that.

if only all of us could go gallavanting across-country on trips short enough to only have carry-on luggage! *sigh* haha, at least I can be sure that when I do, I will have ALL the info I need to pack properly!
