Is there only one Big Foot?
If not, then what is the collective term for Big Foot?
One Big Foot, two Big Feet? One Big Foot, two Big Foots?

Oh 'E'! I hope you check back in on comments, cos yours made me crack up! It reminds me of a scene in Fried Green Tomatoes where Evelyn (the lead character) has a minor meltdown in a parking lot after some young "trendy" things steal her park, gloating about how they're "younger and faster". Well, Evelyn rams their little VW beetle convertible repeatedly with her bog ol' American car and when they run towards her screaming "Are you crazy??!" she replies coolly, "Face it girls, you may be young and faster, but I'm older and have more insurance!" Think I may have to go and watch that again now actually!

Lady S, this week I've noticed:

I tend to change my hair more in winter (by "change" I mean hack at and home-dye).

MiloBars don't taste the same as when I was a kid.

I HATE the insane frequency with which the "orange-faced simpering idiots" use the word 'like'. Intelligent, learned young women in my uni classes do it and it makes me cringe! (I can't help thinking of Miss South Carolina! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww)

Cups of tea make me happy.

The average price of goods in malls/strip shops is directly relational to the physicality of the consumers who frequent them, i.e. cheap prices = badly dressed and generally overweight. (It's a generalisation, not a judgement.)

Lady Smaggle seems to have been happier in Canberra these past couple of weeks going by her posts - or maybe she's just got a little more time than when she's studying! It's a demanding path I know!

Macs don't have a save symbol. ;-)

I always notice the floppy disc icon too! I actually used floppies when I was about 11, but I often wonder what an 11 year old living in 2009 thinks of that icon. They must just see a random shape, right?

a) You will get the look of death whilst shopping if you are a lady of a certain age and you pick up something that is apparently 'trendy' (it happens to takes your eye because you just like the look of it).
b) Being a lady of a certain age means, that if you want to buy several 'trendy' things (that take your eye because you just like the look of them) then you can - because old crones have more money than self-appointed fashion fascists masquerading as orange-faced simpering idiots.

Ahem.

You know your right about staple removers. That had never occured to me...

And yes the floppy disc as a save symbol is redundant but imagine how confused everyone would get if they changed it! Poor Tech support people would be innundated with calls from people saying their save button had gone missing!

I realised I only get hungry in the middle of the night when I know there is something yummy to eat in the house (like left over Lasanga!)
