Lady Loves…

* Ugg boots. Who needs heating when you have super awesome Peter Alexander 100% sheepskin and suede boots of heaven wrapped around your feet?

* The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. Quiet, dignified and thought provoking. A very decent film.

* Making jewelled rings for a ridiculously appropriate Vanity Fair themed exhibition.

* Finishing my assignment so I can drink wine and eat dinner with Roomy Smaggle tonight!

* Working at a special school. Spent all afternoon on Friday playing pool with the most gorgeous kids on earth. Plus they think I’m hilarious.

* Starting a very serious health kick tomorrow.

* This from Foto Decedent.

* Her man.

Lady Loathes…

* Being cold. So typical of Anzac Day.

* Not getting a public holiday tomorrow for Anzac Day. What’s the go Victoria? ACT are partying it up tonight!

* Her jeans getting a tad on the tight side. Hence the health kick tomorrow.

* Having to take off her ugg boots and trackies to go to the shops. Blergh!

* Leaving her favourite sunglasses in Canberra.

* Not being a millionaire.

* Not being able to find a decent free online health diary! Any suggestions?

How about you angel face? Any loves and loathes to share?

Love Lady Smaggle

    Lurker, here.

    What do you mean by health diary? I like SparkPeople.com. It lets you track your nutrition and exercise, as well as goals and other stuffs. A lot of people like the daily plate, too, but I haven’t checked that one for myself yet, so that isn’t an official recommendation.

    Loathe – people who stop in the middle of the carpark waiting for someone to pull out of a space (when said person still has a full trolley and 9 kids to unload) hence stopping all traffic from moving – even people (like me) who just want to get the hell out of the carpark as quickly as humanly possible.

    That was cathartic!

    Highly recommend CalorieKing: http://www.calorieking.com.au/

    I’m starting my health kick on Tuesday, after public holiday Monday ;o)

    No public holiday here, either – holidays end tomorrow. Best not think about it, really.

    Loving ug boots and fireplaces and scrambled eggs on Vogel’s sunflower/barley toast. Y-U-M.

    Loves:
    – the boy bringing me pizza for dinner during my break at work, including napkins and paper plates, and eating it over a tealight candle. holy bejesus he is wonderful.
    – new jeans
    – yellow pompom beanie
    – fellowships

    Loathes:
    – being at work til 11 on a sunday
    – blowing out all my moolah on new jeans and yellow beanies and then having no money to eat, recharge phone, buy petrol… o dear
    – writers not getting their pieces to me on deadline, and then when they get them in, the stories being: not long enough, full of errors, pompous, and embarrassing to arts writing and, in general, the English language

    online health diary- the daily plate is amazing. you track exercise, sleep, and food. it tells you your calorie consumption as well as the percent of fat, carbs, and protein in each day along with your recommended amounts.

    I use fitday.com to log my diet and exercise, it doesn’t have the biggest food database, but it stores whatever custom items you put into it.

    Ok this might sound weird but you know the guy on Extreme Makeover who did all the fitness stuff? Short & chunky dude .. he has his own program food & fitness etc it’s not online but I lost 8 – 10 kgs on it over about 2 – 3 months about 2 years ago & never put the weight back on again & it was amazing!! Trouble is I can’t think of his name…no, got it, Michael Thurman (I hope that is right!)

    Loving;
    Heaters, never fail to impress me.
    Chai lattes, i really would like a never ending cup
    My phone, what hasn’t it got?
    Friends, Oh they are amazing, i can go to the movies with them in trackies ugg boots, large hooded jumper messy hair and no makeup. And they don’t care, after telling me i look like i just woke up. which most likely i have. (:
    Warm days.

    Loathing;
    Healing piercings, they are mighty painful.
    People walking into your house/room while your jumping round like a looney trying to warm up because you got yuy heater taken away.
    The weather.
    School. It’s horrible. and just plain boring.
    When all your comfy clothes are in the wash.
    AND you ran out of your comfort food.
    Thats irritating too.

    (:
