Winter wish list…
It’s flipping freezing here in Smaggle-land and having been recently stimulated (damn it I love saying that) I’m heading out this weekend to buy some winter goodies that I’ve had my eye on…
* Shredded black skinny jeans. And a myriad of colourful tights to wear underneath.
* A massive chunky gray cardigan. Natural fibers only.
* A perfect beige coat. Although I am the biggest spiller on this earth so it’s probably not the most practical of ideas.
* Comfortable boots with a heel. Don’t hate me but I’m considering Kumfs. They are hideously expensive (for me anyway) but I can’t go past the granny thumbs up.
* Statement suede gloves. In lavender or magenta.
* Tasselled scarves to wear turban style wrapped around my head. Super toasty. Plus I can be a goob and wash my hair less.
* Basic thick socks. I NEVER buy socks and I have no idea why.
* A black mohair roll neck jumper.
* Delicious winter pyjamas. My ugg-boots are getting lonely.
So kitten features, what’s on your list for these chilly months???
Love Lady Smaggle

Already got the Uggies, new jeans (from Big W for $15!) so I am sorted.
Highly recommend black Holeproof mens socks from Kmart – generally cheaper and you get nice sole and slightly loser around the top so they don’t leave fugly marks.
Yay for wish lists, I love making them
I would like some coral shoes, the perfect trench coat, and some pointelle sweaters…
Think twice about the suede gloves, they will get filthy really fast and be a bastard to clean. Unless of course you can manage to never touch anything while wearing them. Leather – less sensual but infinitely more practical.
Can’t wait to see you rock some bright suede gloves!
I need more jeans (current tally = one pair).
I’ve had 2 pairs of Kumfs boots for years – one high, one ankle-bootie. Theu are excellent – cannot recommend them highly enough. (Of course I’m in NZ so can get factory-shop prices.)
OK,so my wish list would be …um…a summer wish list? i’m in the uk and for some unknown reason, the sun is actually shining…,but i love your winter wishlist
..just hate winter, that’s all!!!! i would love some UGGs!!! can’t afford them tho…..seriously…i cant
…..ugh…gonna go find some comfort food….xxx
I’ve got most of my winter wish list already. It has been pretty cold here for a while now.
This is what I bought:
A snuggly wool coat in a fawn colour
Brightly coloured tights, I have: red, purple, bright pink and grape (yes grape and purple are different colours)
A tartan scarf
A hoodie / cardie hybrid in grape (I’m wearing it today with the grape tights, yay for matchy matchy)
Next on the list:
New undies! Not terribly wintery but I need them!
Kumfs are fabulous, don’t be shy about wearing them! But I do love a classic nanna shoe. Plus they actually fit my huge feet and a bigger plus is that the boots fit my “I danced for 13 years” calves. Lovely.
i couldn’t get through the chicago winters without my trusty pair of knee high wool socks!
i have kumfs boots. best purchase ever!
I’ve been thinking of Kumfs boots too. They look so comfortable, and Kumfs must have hired some new designers because they look more fashionable than I ever remember them being!
And, at that price, you’re hopefully paying for quality that will last.
My winter wishlist is only missing a heavy cotton flower print scarf. Sigh.
Oh and a cape.
Layering layering love!!
However – here in the UK summer has arrived and I’m so hot I want to shave my head and flay myself.
Ahem.
I don’t do heat very well.
Looking longingly at the floor length black velvet coat and black elbow length lambswool gloves with matt sequins in my wardrobe. I don’t go out in them (not motorcycle-friendly my dear) but I do swan about E Towers being imperious in them. A nice quilted Chinese satin jacket in a jewel colour is v. heartening too. Hats are particularly good for winter cheer – also get that red lippy out again!
Right now it’s actually summer here…but ya I still totally have a list of stuff for winter. I really want a sturdy warm pair of leather knee- high, heeled boots. I really liked the Harley boot by Corso Como but most places I’ve looked they’re out of my size. I want to buy two circle scarves or big wooly scarves from Yokoo on etsy. And lastly many different coloured suede and leather gloves and a bright red beret and a sequined beret.
