I love all the clear bangles on one arm, clever you! I could never figure out how to wear mine so it looked good. And then I left it on the plane.

Cute picture…you look impish. And that wig comment is a winner.

Funny – my students always ask me if I’m wearing a wig. They’re Japanese and have never seen curly blonde hair in person before.

One time, one of them (a 6 year old boy) found one of my hairs on the floor. Kind of embarrassed at my shedding, I told him to put it in the bin. He looked at the bin. He looked at the hair. He looked at me. Bin. Hair. Me.

Then he put the hair in his pocket.

One of the sweetest moments in my teaching life. Weird as it was.

Lady Smaggle- we are soul mates forever! (only kidding, i promise I am not a stalker)- but you are the first person I have come come across who likes clear plastic bangles – AND buys and wears 2 or 3 of them at a time. I’ve been missing my clear plastic since my last one got so scratched with wear I had to chuck it out- now, thanks to you, I know where to go to get some more…

NB. you’ve created the best cutoff tights/shoes combination I have seen – and heaven knows I loathe cutoff tights. Maybe now I will buy some, so long as I can lay my hands on those devilish shoes. Lucky you to find them- I have been trying to buy these in black for months and months, but every time I ask for them they are always sold out of my size. Are they as comfy as they are stylish?

I forgot to say, bonus points for incorporating plastic aside, that this subtle outfit has a great palette and a clever colour/texture balance – tres chic.

Tara – Never ditch clear bangles mine are all scratched and look like cracked ice but I love them anyway!

Lady Smaggle, I honestly just read your wig story, and then screamed “HA!” at the top of my lungs before desolving into a fit of giggles. I think my new housemate is probablly calling the police right now…
