Hi Lady Smaggle.

You come across very well on video! I would approve of seeing you on film more often :)

So who am I and what do I want from Smaggle? hhmm..

Almost 24 year old living in Melbourne. Originally from the country. Only just feeling like I'm coming into my own style wise. I can look completely different one day to the next - sometimes feel like I need more of a 'look' but am finally shopping a bit smarter and pulling together more 'outfits' that I love. I'm around a size 10. Body has changed a bit over the years. extremely thin teen - curvy when living out of home and not eating well - now slimmer again thanks to home cooked meals and grief/stress eek!

Currently hating not knowing what I want next from life. Applying for new jobs. How about some tips on confidence and job interview fashion tips?

I really love smaggle, it's my favourite blog because it always makes me laugh. And you have really good no nonsense fashion tips which I love. I really liked the post you did ages ago about the widest part of your body and what type of clothes to avoid - I think you would be really good at more of those kind of hands on tutorials. (with a dose of body love of course!) And maybe you could incorporate video with that.

I would love to see some fashion dirt. Did you always dress so well or do you have some fashion skeletons in the closet we could see? Maybe some we can learn from. I know I certainly shake my head at some of my past ensembles! :)

I'd love to see more about hair and make up too. I'm still no pro at all on makeup at 23.. I've never had anyone to teach me really. I wish I was a pro! And I have a long face so I'm never sure what hair style will suit me. Anything about that kind of stuff would be awesome.

I would love to hear your opinion on products as well. New things on the market. Your old favourites. Your two cents on things that seem too good to be true. Wonder creams and things that make you lose a dress size. I think your sense of humour would suit that kind of thing really well.

I like hearing about what is happening in your life also. Would like to know more about the course you are doing and what you hope to do in the future.. where you hope your current path will take you.

Wow. Thought I didn't have a lot to say but there you go!

Love your work and look forward to reading more and more!

Jules - Sure! I'm on it! I'm crazy busy at the moment but I always do outfit posts when I'm less nuts.

Roberts - Excellent. More fashion history coming up. I have a brief history of Coco Chanel you may be interested in?

J - Thanks! I've been trying to do it every day but I've been working with really special kids this week so it's been sneakers and shorts but I promise when I wear something pretty I'll post again!

Sarah-rose - More of all coming your way!

Nico - Thank you so much! It's bizarre I never though people liked the daily discoveries!

Erin - Yes everyone loves the style posts! More coming soon! xxx

I LOVE your Daily Style posts. That's what initially drew me to your blog. I also love the Loves and Loathes blogs. Oh, I've nearly forgotten to introduce myself.

My name is Erin, I'm twenty-one. I live in the United States (Michigan to be exact). My size varies from 16/17/18. I'm 5'11. I am a political science student. I am obsessed with fashion blogs.

You seem very sweet and you're definitely very interesting and I love your blog as/is! I could do with more style posts though. (: Anything from how-to's to best for your body shape type posts.

I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia (all the way over in Canada!) and I am a university student, studying English Literature and heaps of Feminist Theory. I have two sweet little babies who are 4 and 2, Nico and Django (yes, I sign my daughter's name to things, it's because I don't like my own!). I am a size 4 with a 6.5-7 shoe size which means the babies will soon be bigger than me.

I started reading your blog about a year and a half ago, I think. I stumbled across it when looking up new ways to wear scarves. I needed something new because the scarf trend had caught on at my university and it was getting out of hand - I had been a loyal scarf-wearer for quite some time until the foufy-lemons (those who wear expensive yoga gear in public but are hard-pressed to actually -do- yoga for fear of mussing their perfectly coiffed hair) got a hold of them.

I absolutely adore your wit and intelligence as you bring us into your life. Also, your "Lady Loves and Loathes" posts are quite possibly my favourite because they are so cathartic and humorous! As you know, it's not always appropriate to throw rocks at the idiots but at least we can all share in "guess-what-this-asshole-did-to-me time"! And the "Why Don't You" posts are simply delightful.

Ahh! I was going to comment but then ... well, I forgot. That's the problem with using Google Reader.
I lovelovelove your outfit posts and Lady's loves and loathes, and I miss (but I have seen since so maybe it's back!) your little lists of discoveries. I love how they can be links to other sites, deep thoughts, or completely random bits and pieces which make me laugh.

I am 30, mother of 2 girls with baby 3 due in a couple of months. I LOVE your "why don't you"s, also the "loves & loathes". Unfortunately vimeo never seems to work on my computor, no idea why, so I didn't get to see the vlog. I must admit that I enjoy the "daily style" posts more when you do them on a regular basis, if it's only every now and again it's less inspiring - but of course that's very demanding! Your attitude and opinions are what keep me coming back, definitely. Thanks for sharing such an enthusiastic outlook.

roberts - long time reader, first time talker.

accountant

canberra

don't actually know what size I am any where on my body [ooer], i have never bought underwear in my life but it just keeps appearing and i can take around 20 minutes of clothes shopping before i furl like an echidna in the corner of the store humming these are a few of my favourite things.

My interest in my own fashion is deplorable. However, i am interested in historical fashion: the necklaces of tribemen "dressed to kill", the Victorian women so keen to get the S-shape they wore whale-bone corsets so tight it took out a few floating ribs, the 16th century continental European aristocracy and their odd love of pubic topiary, Coco Chanel accidentally starting the tanning trend (and probably leading to more skimpy female clothes) by absent-mindedly staying out in the sun too long on a yacht.

So, yeah, more of that stuff.

Hi, I'm Jules. I live in Toronto, Canada and I stumbled upon your blog tonight because I was looking up flattering clothes for my body type. I saw your post about blacking out your silhouette in a picture, and I think that you and I have the same body shape. I am a size 12-14. So I would like to see more of the types of clothes you wear, because I feel a bit clueless when it comes to that.

Clementine - Thanks love! That's a great idea, I'll totally do some 'get your shit together posts'. Yay! I love vlogs too but I rarely watch them. They are such a time suck.

Fat Mum Slim - For sure! The Melbourne fam was totally keen to be featured. And I'll do a Browny feature when I'm back in the Can.

Lisa - He he! Smaggle is a cross between a smash and a snuggle. It's like really, really violent affection. Like when you want to squeeze a kitten to death because it's so cute. Glad that everyone loves the Why Don't Yous... :-)

Lala - Seriously? You guys met through my blog and now you work together selling vintage jewellery??? Do you have ANY idea how happy that makes me? Oh and you met your man through your blog? Sa-weet!
I'm so glad someone loves my serious posts! Thanks! It's not bubbles and sunshine in Smaggle land. It's so sweet how everyone misses Browny! I miss Browny too.

Skye - Congrats on the health! We know I promote health above everything else! Awesome... so easy. No one wants the blog to change!

Cs81 - Aw thanks! Oh please! You've had a baby. Don't be so hard on yourself. Also (unfortunately) as women get older their metabolisms slow down so it's probably just your body getting used to it. I'll do more fitness and health posts too!

Ninaribena - I know! I was so disappointed. Your stuff looked gorgeous though! Thanks love! And I'll totally look out for you in Cleo... I think they are making that section a regular! Also how bloggy was the last issue? It was slightly weird.

Kate - Yes I was talking about you! Done. More boring crap about yours truly.

Mumma - Thanks! I need people to tell me that they like the fashion in the blog. No relationship advice. I'm pretty shit at that anyway. :-)

E - Yay! You're still here! I'll totally do a browny bulletin. Damn that girl is so famous.

Amelia - Yay! I love Have a Rant Mondays. Although I haven't a lot to rant about recently. That's good though!
