Daily Style – Clunky boots
I managed to get three days worth of gem setting done in one day. The quality is appalling but they are done. Then I came home, made some business-type phone calls and went to the gym. I LOVE the back track in Body Pump classes. I spend all week lifting kids with disabilities and sitting awkwardly at the jewellers bench so I adore a good back stretch. I’m spending the evening watching Garden State with Roomy Smaggle who is giving her 28 year old teddy bear a makeover with mending and stuffing. We suspect he may have originally been stuffed with asbestos…

I really dig those boots. The more I see them the more I want them.
My day has consisted of:
- checking marginal annotations
- going to the gym to discover that the evil gym authorities had cut the lock on my locker and removed all my things (because apparently one is “not allowed” to leave one’s things in a locker overnight, a fact which is “signposted clearly” all over the gym. jerks). So, sans padlock, I skipped the gym and spent the time
- writing my column and
- eating cereal for lunch.
I also am paranoid because I think I have fleas.
