Daily Style – Slow morning…

Having a slow day… we got the morning off school because we had a fundraising jewellery auction last night. I was delighted that someone other than Co-Dependant Smaggle bid on my piece. Three people in fact. The girl that won them put them on straight away… it was pretty cool.

* Red tights from Myer
* Dress from Tree of Life
* Doc Marten shoes from DFO
* Men’s watch from Fossil
* Necklace by Roomy Smaggle

Off to the workshop for the afternoon and then having a studio warming dinner for Roomy.

Love Lady Smaggle

Carly is the founding editor of Smaggle which launched in 2007 back when blogging was weird. She has appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Cosmopolitan and Cleo magazines. Hoop earrings are totally her thing and she almost got run over by Myf Warhurst while out jogging one day.

    Damn you!

    I was in a huff getting changed this morning because my brightest tights are inferior blue and not bangin’ red like yours.

    Yours sulking in fishnets,

    Super-cute!!! Red Riding Hood, yeyah! Is the jacket part of the dress? Or is it uncredited . . ?

    You look like a velvet cupcake in this photo, in the very best sense! Thrilled the auction went well and love this blog. When my work team are driving me nuts (happens about once a day at least) I escape to Smaggle land (which is always fab).

    I want to see an entire series of practical applications for fairytale clichés in everyday dress – you’ve done a bang-up job with Little Red Riding Hood here, but how might you dress as Cinderella or Snow White when you also need to go to uni and do a spot of grocery shopping in Brunswick afterwards? Hmm? HMM?
