Lady loves…
* Dexter. I was utterly, utterly entranced by the last few episodes of season four. John Lithgow is truly gifted.
* Hot showers. Scorching hot. So hot that my skin steams when I step out into the cold bathroom.
* Winter oranges. Delectable.
* Coats with massive buttons.
* Going to the gym and finding the current issue of Grazia in the magazine rack and reading the whole thing while on the stepper.
* Friendly service people. I adore it when I am served in any capacity by someone who smiles and has a positive attitude to back it up.

* Canberra’s fresh air. I got off the plane last weekend and it was so cold, crisp and clean almost like it was about to snow. It’s such a beautiful city.
* Having my housemate cook me dinner. Do you ever get the feeling that if someone cooks beautifully for you that they must really, really love you?
Lady loathes…
* Tennis balls. They make my skin crawl when I touch them.
* Wool tights. They are SO warm but so incredibly itchy.
* People who think A Current Affair is the same as the news.

I TOTALLY agree about hot showers, but I would have to extend that to baths too. I love sitting in a bath that, as my boy would say, is “the temperature of lava.”
The fact that i can buy 4 different pieces of fruit for under a dollar at the fruit show near my work. Makes lunch more interesting and still healthy!

The LOST finale. Seriously guys, that was crapola.
My boss who tells me to do something, then does my job instead of his own, meanwhile bitching about the things he should be doing. Do your own work that I CANT do, instead of my work that i CAN do.Thanks for the room to rant lady!

Love: Doing the couch to 5k running program. Even though I was gasping for air, dying and freezing Canberra was beautiful this morning!
Loathe: cardboard boxes – erk… the noise cardboard on cardboard makes is enough to make me want to be sick.

loathes: people in LA who forget how to drive at the slightest sign of rain. (I saw to ridiculous & preventable accidents on the way to work today!)

OMG. I have been spending the last 6 years of my life trying to tell people that there is a difference between the two, and a mighty huge one at that.
I literally want to die when I hear people say “did you see that thing on the news last night..? the thing about that new weight loss method?!”

I have solved the woollen tights dillema! Just wear a pair of ordinary, thin tights underneath, and you won’t itch at all. I’m wearing a pair of wool tights I bought two years ago for the first time today and my legs have never felt snugglier.
