Carly, I think you’re a lovely, feisty and opinionated woman (all highly desirous traits in my book!) and almost all content on your blog impresses me. That being said, I do wonder (only now that you’ve brought it up of course!) what IS with the unimpressed face? I understand y’all tend to opt mainly for one pose (think Gala Darling and her high shoulders and Andrea Eames and the weight on one foot, the other with a bent knee, looking off-camera smiling pose – both of which obviously make them happy and make them feel that they look their best).

Please don’t read this as passive-aggressive criticism! I genuinely love your stuff, and if the fact is that you’re most happy with your photographic representation with that face, so be it. I just wondered is all…

Ah! I totally missed this comment. I have no idea why I look cranky in photos. My natural face is quite cranky. When I’m relaxed I look like a bitch, I try to take smiley shots but they don’t always work. I’m working on it though! x
