Pondering the mysteries of life? Ask Sarah Von and Smaggle!
Carly Jacobs

So have you all met Sarah Von from Yes and Yes? I’m assuming you have. She’s my blogging bestie. Obviously. We are both Virgos with Type A personalities and twin noses. I’ve drawn a helpful diagram above to demonstrate.

Well ladies she’s coming to Australia (!!!) next month and we are planning on taking advantage of being in the same country at the same time and making a podcast together! About organisation (or ‘organization’ as Sarah likes to spell it… we’ll have to fight that one out), productivity, planning and how to keep on top of your fabulous life.

So… do you guys have any questions you want to ask us, the team captains of Type A? They can be bloggy/organisation based or personal. Ask away!

Oh and Sarah’s readers have already started asking questions! Exciting!

Love

Smaggle

I have been debating on the best way to look at a schedule – daily, weekly, monthly? The 7 Habits suggests weekly, which is good, but with so many summer plans and things to buy for summer weddings I wonder whether there is a better idea? Thoughts?

I want to know how you get inspired? How you find your ‘creative’? As a complete non-type A person my creative comes to me in very unorthodox ways, which is a pit because I have to use it to make my money! Rather than waking up to write at 3 in the morning, I would love some advice on how to bring on the muse….

er….I don’t know why the word ‘pit’ is in there. I meant to say ‘bitch’.

Hi! I was wondering how you know where to draw the line with mentioning people from your personal lives in your blogs.  Do you give them a moniker, ask them before, or just go for it?

And a very quick fashion question: short girls and maxi dresses. I’m short and love them, but I hear conflicting advice. Yay or nay?

Nnonamybizness, but i thikn its about proportions more than height.  Some people can appear taller than they are because they have long limbs or a long neck or whatever, and if a dress fits well and doesn’t swamp the wearer, I don’t think the height matters.

Also, if you like a dress, where it and forget the haters!

I’m short (5 feet 2) and get nothing but compliments in my long dresses and skirts…

How do you get motivated? I find I’m one of the people who can have the best intentions, but somehow manage to sit at a computer all day and get no work done at all.

hi my question is what’s a good way to excercise if you don’t like being around people much? the gym scene has never worked for me. i tried to go to yoga classes twice but the first time it was full and the second time it was cancelled. i’m a student and i don’t have much money or time. thank you!

I have a sort of bloggy related question which I think would meld with a motivation question… do you guys blog in the morning/afternoon/when you feel like it? Do you have a regular time of day when you write? I have a suspicion that if I were more Virgo/Type A I would have a regular time that I would do things like that and that regularity would actually be the motivation…if you know what I mean! See! I can’t even write a question without going all Aries – get the idea out quick /Type ‘no idea’ on it!!
Hmmm I hope that makes sense!
