Kerri Sackville wrote about this somewhere last week (can’t find the link!) and my answer is a resounding yes. If I’ve peed in your toilet, then I’ve looked in your bathroom cabinet. It’s just what I do. I’m not looking for anything and I don’t touch anything, but I like knowing what moisturiser you use. I’m also perfectly comfortable with other people doing this to me. It’s human nature to be nosy.
This is probably why I love looking at what I like to call ‘Organisation Porn’. Observe.
Delicious is it not?
Do you like to sticky beak in other people’s cupboards?
Seriously, if I could find a way to look in other women’s handbags I would. I’m such a voyeur.

I DO THAT TO. Except I love looking through people’s desk drawers. And whenever people do “What’s in Your Bag” posts I get so excited because I’m supremely nosey.

I’m super nosy! Have you ever seen this? A Flickr group dedicated to showing what’s in people’s purses: http://www.flickr.com/groups/whats_in_your_bag/

I love organization. I do look in other people’s cupboards, it is such a look into who they are!

Bathrooms and desk doors are the best though.

I’m always sneaking a peek at people’s bookshelves. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the books they have on display. DVD cabinets and CD racks are also places I gander when visiting a friend.

True that on DVDs and books. You can tell so much from someone by what’s on their book shelf.

The green stripe on the blue wall–LOVE it. Stealing that idea for the next apartment that lets me paint 🙂

Don’t go to pinterest. It will kill you. And don’t search for ‘organization’. Bad.

I do this too! I’m so glad to find out that lots of others do it as well. A friend of a friend suspected someone of snooping in her bathroom cupboards, and reportedly filled them with marbles, so everyone would know immediately if the door was opened. Ever since I heard that, I’ve been much more careful opening doors.

Holy crap! That’s hardcore detective work… I’d only do that if it was someone I hated. 🙂
