I’m Jasmine, and I like buttering up my toast, cutting off the corners and eating those first, THEN cutting my toast in half and eating it ‘properly’. If I’m making toast for you, there’s a very good chance I might eat your corners, too.

I dislike random unidentifiable smells that waft past.

I like when animals wear ‘human’ expressions (especially when they pull a sheepish face after doing something foolish).

I dislike people using foul and inappropriate language around young children and old people.

I like to sort my sheet music books of musical theatre shows I own by colour and date (I started with the dates but then my love of pretty took the upper hand).
I dislike forgetting I have a cup of tea standing next to me and then taking a cold sip.
I like walking on the beach with my feet in the sea. This reminds me I should do it more often.
I dislike walking on the beach with my feet in the sea and then having to sprint out and away because I see (or think I see) a jellyfish. I’m rather scared of them.
I like jello pudding though. Somehow the bright colours take away any scary associations for me.
I dislike colds. They tamper with my voice and they usually love me very much when I should be studying new songs.
I like flipping through my collection of programmes from shows/plays I’ve seen. Some of those trigger more powerful memories than pictures of holidays or trips do. Yes I am an MT nerd… And I am proud.
I dislike asparagus. For no particular reason.

I dislike people who are big-headed (I may or may not be referring to a certain actor who didn’t have the guts to just come out of the stage door and say that he didn’t feel like signing)

I dislike being rushed when I still have the time to do something at a normal speed.
I like having breakfast somewhere with my mum. I get her eggs then and she gets my ham so it works perfectly.

I like good drumming in music. This makes me excited.
I dislike people who keep on pressing the button at the traffic lights.
I like the clinking sound of jewellery and $2 coins, as well as certain pleasing buttons like on my old washing machine.
I dislike seeing strands of hair on people’s backs. If I see a random strand of hair on your back I will long to pull it off, even if I don’t know you. This is problematic for me because I malt like a dog.
I like singing with reckless abondon in the car because no one can hear me. Interpretive dance tends to happen too. Mainly whilst at the lights.
I dislike Times New Roman as a font. If you use it I will quietly judge you.

I like when my boyfriend comes home from business trips and always has a gift for me.
I dislike it when I wear my gorgeous suede boots out for the day & Melbourne does it’s four seasons in one day thing and rains.
I like it when I have nothing else to do but wander around Ikea/Bunnings/Costco without anywhere else to be.
I dislike it when people don’t walk on the left hand side of the path or stand to the left on the escalator.
I like it best when the sun shines and/or when I find a new favourite blog.
Oh, and I also like that when you’re at home alone on a Saturday night because your boyfriend is away on a business trip and you channel surf and discover Amelie is on! 

Hi! I’m Lucy.  

I like dinosaurs. I have never grown out of the childhood obsession with dinosaurs. I have a Reptar plushie that I sleep with every night (and also lend out to my fellow dorm mates as a cure for hangovers, illness, break-ups and bad days), and a collection of dinosaur toys, and even a sterling silver necklace with a pterodactyl on it. 

I dislike wearing pants. You really have no idea. I wear skirts and dresses every day. Or tights and a long shirt if I really must. I was forced to wear shorts the other day to a drama workshop (my usual tights were in the wash), and I have never felt more uncomfortable in all my life. I HATE PANTS.

I like B Grade horror movies. The more ridiculous the plot and the hokier the effects are, all the better.

I dislike the very annoying ‘facebook photographers’. You know, those ones that take slightly blurry photos of their children in some nice clothes, by some pretty river, then put it in black and white and think they’re an amazing photographer. They make a folder called _x_ Mii Fotos _x_ and get a million comments from their facebook friends telling them that ‘their soooooo talented, gawgus!’. Grr.

I like restorative yoga. Most of life is go, go, go and restorative yoga is an hour to an hour and a half of stop, rest, repeat.

I dislike people wearing busyness as a badge of honor. Why do they feel the need to go, go, go and brag about how tired and busy they are? 

I like having 8 year olds as co-workers. Kids do say the funniest things.

I dislike useless meetings. Waste of time and I’ll never get those minutes of my life back.

I like checking out tons of books from the library and reading a little bit of each.

I dislike bananas. Don’t even try to sneak one into a smoothie. I can tell. Yuck!

I like putting together IKEA furniture.  I love being able to say that I made something, even if it was just putting it together from a box.
I dislike air conditioning that is set to freezing temperatures.
I like being out so early in the morning that the streets are deserted and there’s still rolling down the street.
I dislike riding in taxi’s.  Something about being in a small space with someone I don’t know just gives me the wig.
I like seeing if I can remember choreography from high school.  This is most often done while waiting for the bus/train and singing the lyrics to myself.
I dislike cars that cut me off (especially when riding my bike).

I dislike snails and slugs. I can’t even bear to step on them and go to great lengths to walk around them on wet and rainy days.

I like having everything in order in my bag: purse, phone, bottle of water, glasses case, old glasses case that I keep my iPod in, umbrella.

I dislike when people don’t say thank you to the bus driver.

I like very carefully using a spoon to scrape out all the leftover mixture from a bowl when I make a cake. I sometimes even leave extra mixture in the bowl to scrape out later.

I dislike doing the drying up.

I can’t stand the smell of multivitamins.

I really like the ribs and stomach. I love hugging my skinny friends to wrap my arms around them, and I love it when you can see the little patch of ribs over the stomach muscles on men.
