Daily Style – Wedding Finery in Pink Lace

We’ve been offline for a few days, in a dead reception zone at the coast. Two of our dearest friends (featured here – Dave and Ted) got married after having been in a relationship for ten years.

It was magical. Garden ceremony with beach views, Pims and cucumber sandwiches barefoot on the lawn, picnic rugs and party food, bonfire, red wine, champagne, mid-night curry and alfresco dancing under the stars.

My own! Closely followed by a girlfriend’s spectacular party last year – we were bussed to the event in the hinterland (coastal views). She was beautiful as was the food, champagne and wild dancing. You look amazeballs, spunky lady x

I loved my wedding! But I’ve been to some fabulous weddings this year with some beautiful friends getting married on the beach in Greece, my best friends having a big party wedding in Sydney and I still have destination weddings in Thailand and Tuscany coming up.

The best wedding I’ve ever been to was only a few weeks ago. It was my boyfriend’s childhood best friends’ wedding, and it was so personal and intimate. I cried even though I barely know the happy couple.

Love this dress! Best wedding so far was in March. One of my friends got married in an amazing garden ceremony and had the reception in a marquee on her parent’s acreage. There were rolling hills and fairy lights and jars of lollies and champagne and it was so perfect.

I am a wedding photographer, so I have been to a lot of weddings! Probably the best one I have been to was in the Hunter Valley this year. I shot it and the bride is a very close friend. It was just such an amazing day – an intimate twenty person ceremony and reception on a stunning Autumn day. Having seen so many weddings, all the details in the world don’t compare to true, raw emotion
