This was worn for an extremely short trip to the supermarket because it was stupidly cold yesterday. This dress is one of my favourite purchases from New York. It’s 100% woven cotton so it’s one of those miraculous pieces that’s warm and cool all at the same time. It’s not amazingly flattering but I love it anyway.
What looks are you loving for winter? What’s ‘in’ this season? I always wear tights and boots no matter what’s trending so I’d love to hear your thoughts.

LOVE this dress, Carly! Nothing better than a Breton stripe dress, as far as I am concerned. it was bitchin’ cold up in Sydney over the weekend, too. Summer can’t come soon enough, honestly.
I am personally loving faux fur and shearling gilets, maxi skirts with breton stripe tops, smoking slippers and of course dresses with tights and boots (perennial, really). x

Oh, I don’t care about those rules, I adore stripes and boat necks (DD boobs be damned, haha), so I just accept that I look a little wider than normal and pose accordingly in photos, haha. My Francophile self can’t accept life any other way.
Smoking slippers = the new nanna-slipper-style loafers everyone is getting about in. Love ’em x
