Oh Yes and Hell No!

Oh Yes and Hell No!

Oh Yes…

* An impromptu prawn salad dinner at my friend’s house. Wine, candles and lovely conversation. Perfection.

* Geeking out over the Problogger conference this weekend. For those of you who don’t know it’s the blogging equivalent of a Renaissance Fair or a New Age Expo. It’s big and weird and niche and awesome. Can’t wait.

*Daylight savings! Which means I’ll have more photography hours and can actually start tackling my long list of photography based posts I have coming up.

* New episodes of Episodes. Such a great show.

* Cold nights and warm afternoons. My favourite kind of weather.

* Being really busy doing lots of things I love. I’m super tired and in desperate need of a holiday but I’m loving it.

Hell No…

* Trying a new skin care range that has made my skin go all bumpy and gross and it just won’t heal. No one can see it but I can feel it. Yucky.

* Having to wait months and months for the second half of the last season of Breaking Bad. The cliffhanger is killing me!

Tell me about your week?

I had the same issue with my skin and what helped clear it up (aside from switching to a true mineral makeup) was a Lush Face Mask – Catastrophe Cosmetic mask. Even hubby was amazed how much of a difference it made!
Gah, disqus not playing ball this morning – it’s Mamamsosweet from Twitter here

  2. Tell that skin to pull it’s head in. Grrr.

See you at some point on the weekend. Yay!

Oh Yes, a lovely date night dinner.
Hell No, the kids have nits so I’ve spent all week hunched over their heads searching through their heads like a chimpanzee (except I don’t eat them when I find them) I haven’t found anything for two days now, but I think it will be weeks before I feel relaxed enough to drop the daily inspection.

    Have fun at problogger.

Hmm, had to think hard about this one!
Oh, Yes – my little sister stepping up and helping out my Dad. She’s really growing up to be an amazing person, and is having these cool grown-up moments so often now. She is such a fantabulous person and I’m so proud to know her.
    – also, I am almost completely over the horrible bug I had a few weeks ago. It meant I only worked 5 days out of 10, so less money too. But I get paid for a full week this Wednesday, I’m feeling 90% today, and I starting catching up on house cleaning on Saturday. So things are looking up.
Hell, No – a friend of the family passed away on Friday night. She went downhill really suddenly, but I’m so glad my dad got in one last visit to her. She was awesome, and it’s so completely unfair that she’s gone.
