Geek Guy Christmas Gift Guide 2012.

I made a public Facebook plea yesterday, asking for advice on what to get my father and brother for Christmas. I usually get a JB HiFi-slash-bottle-of-fancy-plonk combo but I’m getting bored of that. Besides, I got my dad a signed and framed Judge Judy photograph for his birthday and I’m never going to be able to beat that, so why bother trying?

So anyway, my gorgeous readers went MENTAL with awesome suggestions and then I promptly got sucked into the vortex of the interwebs, searching for gifts for men. I then decided to get a little fancy and created this handy Geek Guy Gift Guide. You’ve got just enough time to get in your online orders before Christmas!

1. Neon Green Bantam Skateboard $139.99 2. Camera Lens Wristbands $9.95 3. Super Mario Chess Collector’s Edition $79.95 4. Moonshine Striped Tee $39.95 5. Oh and a few awesome shops including the ones above…

Cool Hunter – not technically a shop but still full of awesome ideas.

DadShop – You have to do a little sifting here but if you want a fancy razor or a cool BBQ utensil this is the place.

Uncrate – Not the cheapest gifts around but perfect for that special someone who loves good design.

Globe – This one will either be useless to you or a gold mine. Full of ‘skeg’ gear it’s awesome for teens or nostalgic kids of the 90s.

Oh My Geek – For cheap, cheerful and quirky little gifts. Great for newish boyfriends or guy BFFs.

If you have any other suggestions please feel free to leave links in the comments or share a story of when you totally nailed a gift for a guy.
