5 Awesome Things I Did This Month.

5 Awesome Things I Did This Month.
Carly Jacobs

1. Started writing a web series with my friend Steph. Stay tuned for a teaser… this chick is wet-your-pants-hilarious. She’s from New Zealand and the drunker she gets, the thicker her accent gets. Yesterday I had to explain to her what a bunyip is. She’s delightful.

2. Hung out at the Grand Prix Johnny Walker VIP Suite at Art Series Hotel. Nuffnang hooked me up with these random tickets to this mad bar that was open during race hours with unbelievable views of the track. Mr Smaggle and his brother were smug little monkeys all weekend.

3. Took my ma on an awesome date in my old hood in Canberra. Erindale baby! We drank red wine, had cheap Chinese food for dinner and saw the local production of Les Mis.

4. Went to a weird/cool thing at the Spiegeltent called Sushi Ragamuffin. When the PR gals got in touch to see if I’d like to go I was like “Um… what is it?‘. It was literally a chef making sushi to a reggae DJs beats. Bizarre yet awesome. If you’re around over Easter, check out the tent.

The chef asked for a volunteer I was all ‘Pick me! Pick me!’. That’s me rolling sushi. One handed. Like a boss.

5. Celebrated 7 years with Mr Smaggle. It was supposed to be a casual fling before I left to spend my 20s in London. I never left. Good life choice Carly. Well done.

What about you? What cool things have you been up to this month? Weddings? Holidays? Concerts? Fancy dress parties?

PS. I also filmed two vlogs this month. How to Be Cute and How to Ruin A Beautiful Love Song By Singing It In a Cartman Voice. Just incase you need something completely useless to watch.
