Daily Outfit – High Contrast, Burnt Orange and Black and White.by Carly Jacobs

Every item I’m wearing today, except for the tights, were fairly important purchases. Not one of them cost under $150. However each item is worn at least 3 to 4 times per week. Worth every cent.
Figure Out If You’re High or Low Contrast
I had my colours done a few months ago and one of the most valuable pieces of information that I got was that with my pale skin, dark hair and blue eyes I’m ‘high contrast’. This means I can wear outfits that have a high level of contrast like black and white and solid blocks of primary colours. It made me understand why I love black so much.
This outfit was worn for client work, writing, a meeting in the city, a quick dinner and rehearsal. I’ve been quite unwell this week so I’ve only been able to wake up, do the minimum amount of client work possible (freelancers don’t get sick leave) and then crawl to the couch for the evening. Feeling slightly better today after my BFF swung by last night with some home cooked traditional chicken soup.
