A Little Bit Of Housekeeping and A Few Important Things To Tell You…
Carly Jacobs

Hello loves! Just a few bits and pieces I thought you should know about…

I’m in a play.

It’s called Sexual Perversity in Chicago and it’s on upstairs at The Wilde on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy in Melbourne. It goes for just over an hour so it’s the perfect night out with enough time to grab dinner, a few drinks and catch a little bit of saucy theatre. You can buy tickets at the door or you can book here. The play is by David Mamet. If you don’t already know who he is by his amazing work he also happens to be the father of Zosia Mamet who plays Shoshanna on Girls. Oh and if you come make sure to hang around afterwards for a drink, I’d love to say hi!

I read a mad book.

It’s called Not Quite Nigella by my blogging friend Lorraine Elliot. It was just such a lovely read that I had to tell you guys about it.

I’m updating my subscriber service.

I’ve been a very good little blogger and I’ve attended a few courses and done some research into managing subscriber lists so that if you subscribe to Smaggle you won’t miss out on anything. So subscribe… it’s about to get super relevant I promise.

I’m giving away a $500 gift voucher for Myer.

It’s exclusive to Smaggle readers so you have really high odds of winning! Enter here.

I got nominated for an award.

I’m a finalist in the Most Clickable Women Awards along with Zoe FosterSarah Wilson and a whole bunch of my most favourite bloggers. I’m pretty stoked to be in such rad company.

And that’s about it!

What about you petal? What’s happening in your world? Any plans for the weekend?

That play sounds fantastic! We’ll be moving to Melbourne in May of next year, I hope you’ll be doing more plays then 🙂
This weekend my hubby and I are in New Orleans for World Horror Con. While hubby is schmoozing and talking it up, I’ll be swanning around the French Quarter. Yaaaaaaay!
