How To Get Into The Spring Spirit – Dress Like A Florist Threw Up On You.
Carly Jacobs

Spring has sprung in Melbourne, but I know it’s short-lived. I can see three 20 plus degree days in a row on my weather app (yes I have a weather app. I AM a Virgo!) followed by several rainy, cold days. Melbourne went MENTAL this weekend. I think everyone got their fill of vitamin D and promptly rocked the shit out of life this weekend. It was awesome. Bands playing in parks, people walking their dogs, gelato and frozen yogurt shops popped up all over the place. For a summer hater, I must admit, I REALLY enjoyed the 25 degree weekend.

This was worn for a delicious day of walking, coffee drinking, photography, writing, Parks and Recreation watching, napping and afternoon ciders in the sun. A rather productive and restful weekend. I just couldn’t help but wear my most obnoxious floral print on the first day of spring.

How was your weekend? What did you get up to?

ALSO do you watch Parks and Recreation??? It’s my brand new obsession. Amy Poehler is my imaginary BFF.

Very English behaviour … were people near naked in parks because the sun was out?! I think you were needing it as part of your acclimatisation process before Problogger!

I didn’t see any naked people BUT I saw lots of girls not wearing pants. They love their denim undies in the summer here. Can’t WAIT for Problogger! So excited!

I’m a Taurus, should I get rid of my weather app?

I remember being very surprised by how bright and colourful the clothes became in Melbourne once Spring hit last year. My first thought was “I did not sign up for this”

Ah well as a Taurus, you’re a wannabe Virgo so it’s best to get three more weather apps and a few to do list ones while you’re at it.

I get excited for the first week and start wearing colour and then I slip back into my monochromes. Sun makes me do weird things.

        hahaha I DO love lists!

I now live in Denver. It’s a very sunshiney, bike-riding, outdoorsy city and then I’m walking around dressed all in black.

I know. They just get up and get dressed without prior research. What RECKLESS behaviour.
