5 Cheap, Healthy and Easy Dinner Ideas

5 Cheap, Healthy and Easy Dinner Ideas
Carly Jacobs

If you’re trying to keep your waistline under control, a good rule of thumb is make sure that each meal you consume is no more than 300 calories. When a cup of rice clocks in at around 200 calories you can understand how easy it is to eat more than you need in a meal. Here’s a short list of my favourite recipes from the around web that are cheap, healthy and around 300 calories each.

Thank you for these! I can’t wait to try the chicken broccoli pasta and the veggie tofu thing.

My favourite recipe for under 300 cal I can’t link to, because it’s in my head and I’ve yet to write it down and publish, and when I will, I’ll feel like a douche coming back to this post to link it up. So. There’s a tumblr, http://under400.tumblr.com/ . It hasn’t been updated in over a year, but there’s plenty of recipes and they are all under 400 cals. Desserts too.
