1. Nivea In-Shower Lotion

I never use body moisturiser because I’m really impatient and I don’t like waiting for it to soak in before I get dressed, so this is a godsend for someone like me who can’t complete the simple task of waiting. You slather this stuff on in the shower, rinse it off and then you kind of rub it in with your towel when you dry yourself. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea (Woog calls it ‘shower jizz’) but I really love it.

2. QV Moisturising Day Cream

This absorbs super quickly and it doesn’t make my face all lumpy and bumpy like some other moisturisersΒ do. It’s cheap too – I just grab it at the chemist for around $8 and it has sunscreen in it as well. Win.

3. Swisse Magnesium Tablets

I’ve been experiencing some sleeping problems recently (nothing major, I’m just not a super sleep ninja like a used to be) and my doctor recommended that I take magnesium before bed. I find it relaxes my muscles and calms me down enough to get to sleep. It could very easily be a placebo effect but really who the hell cares? I love it.

4. Karen Murrell lipstick*

I received a few of these lipsticks in the post not long ago and I tucked them in a drawer and forgot about them. I then impulsively grabbed one the other day to try and now I’m totally hooked. They are all natural, they smell AMAZING and they last ALL day. (oh there’s a little giveaway down the bottom for the first 3 commenters! Go!)

5. Toni and Guy Leave In Conditioner

This is an oldie but a goody. Whenever I wash my hair, I slather it in Toni and Guy leave in conditioner and then blow dry it. Curly hair can be quite dry and I’ve tried SO MANY different leave in conditioners and this one is my favourite. It’s not greasy and it’s the perfect weight – not too light, not too heavy. I can also buy it at the supermarket which is a major box tick for a lazy beauty buyer like myself.

What products are you loving right now? Any new awesome prods I should be putting on my list?

Also I have 3 Karen Murrell Lipsticks to give away so the first 3 people to comment (in Australia) will get one sent to them in the post! Bonza!

* Karen Murrell lipsticks were sent to me for editorial consideration but they were so awesome I wanted to share the love.Β

I recently discovered (via The Daily Mark blog) Rimmel “Wake Me Up” concealer. Game changer! I don’t like wearing a lot of makeup and this is light and seems to stay put. Definitely worth testing out if you are on the hunt for a new concealer.

I was never a huge concealer wearer but now it’s my favourite thing – I don’t leave the house without it. Will have to try this one!

I love all your suggestions, Mrs Woog is great too, check out the shavers she rec, never waxing legs again. I am personally going to get the Toni and Guy conditioner as I have crazy wavy hair too and by God I forgot about Magnesium, love the dissolvable tablets. Thanks. Love that I can get stuff just at supermarket.

I’m a HUGE supermarket shopper. The only drawer back about QV stuff is that you have to get it from the chemist and I’m lazy! I’m definitely a leg waxer… I occasionally shave but only if desperate! πŸ™‚

I’ve gone a bit cold on mascara every since Zoe Foster told me that no mascara makes you look younger! πŸ™‚

Argan oil (as always – for my hair and my skin).
B12 injections – seem to have turned a small corner with my CFS and loving it!
OPI Nail Envy strengthener. A side-effect I have from CFS is brittle nails. This is helping more than anything else I’ve tried πŸ™‚

I’ve hear B12 injections are amazing in general for energy and stuff too. Obviously I’d see a Dr first but yay it’s working for you.

Magnesium = awesome! I have the problem that when i’m super stressed I’ll grind my teeth in my sleep. My doctor rec’d magnesium to help and it certainly has!
