Weekly Style Report: Asos, Fryes and Religion

Weekly Style Report: Asos, Fryes and Religion
Carly Jacobs
I

‘ve been getting lots of emails recently from people saying that they miss my daily style posts. The reason why I kind of slacked off on them was because I didn’t love the idea of most of my posts for the week being pictures of me wearing clothes and being all ‘MUCH STYLISH! MANY FASHION!’. So I’ve decided to do a weekly wrap up of my every day style to satisfy those curious little cookies who want to know what I’ve been wearing, without dominating too much blog space. Here’s what I’ve been wearing this week.

 * Dress from ASOS (this dress is now half price so GET ON THAT) *

 * Shoes from TOMS *

* Rings from India, Thailand, Bali, William Griffiths and Fifth Element

* Sunglasses from Randolph *

Worn for a MASSIVE day of article writing (seriously I smashed six deadlines, my brain is FRIED), a quick walk to grab a coffee, a visit to the Post Office and an evening of tea drinking in front of David Attenborough.

 * Dress from Religion in Bali (I just clicked the link and there’s now a Religion store in Sydney in Bondi!!! So exciting, it’s my most favourite shop!) *

* Wrap cardigan from Zhai in Singapore *

* Boots from Frye *

* Rings from India, Thailand, Bali, William Griffiths and Fifth Element *

*Sunglasses from Randolph *

Worn for my third doctors appointment this month (I think I’m finally on the mend but don’t quote me on that) and a trip to the chemist to hang with all the other sick people and fight for the last bottle of Betadine throat gargle and the most hard core cold and flu tablets.

 * Dress from Jaqui E *

*Cardigan from Supre *

* Boots from Merchant *

* Rings from India, Thailand, Bali, William Griffiths and Fifth Element *

* Sunglasses from Randolph *

Worn for a few meetings, some article writing and blogging and then a stroll into the city to see Zoe Foster present her new skin care range. I love her. I was all ‘SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY! AND THEN OBVIOUSLY HANG OUT WITH ME FOR AGES AFTERWARDS AND MAYBE LET ME PASH YOUR HUSBAND AND SQUEEZE YOUR BABY REALLY HARD!’

What have you been up to this week? And more importantly what have you been wearing? Any staples or repeat offenders?

    I cannot seem to get out of my Witchery black skinnies. Higher waisted; a must for the post-baby phase! All manner of merino layers topped with one of my super warm Turkish wrap scarves, of course! Also loving super bright lipstick (Lady Danger by MAC or Eurydice by Illasmasqua) and statement earrings by the talented ladies at Flock Curiosity x

      Oh I have Witchery navy skinnies! I do love them but I’m really not a pants gal… they kind of get uncomfortable for me after a while. I’ve been doing a bit of lipstick recently too… I like a corally, lightish pink for every day and a punchy bright pink for night!

    Your hair is so fabulous!! (Also the outfits, but the hair is new so gets it’s own specific comment)

      Thank you! It ended up quite a bit pinker than I imagined but I’m getting used to it! 🙂

    I have the glory (and mind mess) of working 3 jobs at the moment, so I get to rotate 2 outfits for the entire week because NOBODY sees me two days in a row. It’s. The. Best. 😀

      I freaking love that. If I wear an awesome outfit and I don’t see anyone important, I totally recycle it the next day.
