ello lovelies! It’s Treat Yo Self time. If you’ve got a little extra cash floating around this week and you’re looking to TREAT. YO. SELF! here’s the best stuff I’ve found (or already bought) from around the web this week. Warm up your credit cards my little spendy friends.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream $12 from Adore Beauty

I always have at least one or two of these floating around in my hand bag at all times. Pro tip: I always buy mine from Adore Beauty because they’re cheaper than at L’Occitane. Another pro tip: Moisturiser and steering wheels don’t mix.

Pollock Drape Dress $169 from Metalicus

It’s no secret that I’m a massive Metalicus fan and almost every week I find a new piece of theirs to add to my wish list. Their drape style pieces are usually a bit looser fitting than some of their body tight collections so they’re a bit more flattering for those of us who don’t love wandering around in body con dresses. I’m adding this to my spring shopping list – perfect trans-season dress.

My old house mate made a ring years ago out of typewriter key and I’ve been wanting one like it ever since. I was stoked to stumble upon this on Etsy last week. Perfect gift for a writer friend.

Black Oversized Tunic $76 from Blush Fashion on Etsy

Like a good little Fitzroy resident I have so many drapey black things in my wardrobe but it doesn’t stop me buying stuff like this. Blush Fashion is such a cute store by the way – check it out. Particularly if you’re looking for bridesmaids dresses.

Pink Dipped Macrame Plant Hanger $69 from Hunting For George

We’ve been completely obsessed with plants for the last few years and our little flat is starting to look like a forrest. We have quite a few hanging planters and I just love the way they add life to a room.

This popped up in my side bar on Facebook last week and I was like ‘High five Facebook.’ I’m not a huge wearer of colour but I adore a bright clutch. If I’m going out of an evening I rarely take a handbag I usually just grab my Nancy Bird wallet and shove my phone and keys in it but I’d love to get into a fancy clutch habit. This will be perfectly with my monochrome Melbourne wardrobe.

Teddy Bear Ring $131 from The Golden Plague on Etsy

How freaking cute is this? I love discovering cheeky jewellery in stirling silver. Check out the other stuff in their store too. They’ve got gorgeous enamel cat ear rings too.

I feel the need for retail therapy this weekend. New shoes for the warmer weather, and a handbag 🙂

Okay try Alice Euphemia, Neuw, Quick Brown Fox, anywhere in Fitzroy, (Gertrude St, Smith St, Brunswick St) and Little Collins Street in the City. Chapel Street is also great but very mainstream! Good luck!

Clogs. Desperately want some Funkis or Swedish Hasbeen style clogs. Not quite sure why I’m suddenly so smitten, but there you go.

I waited YEARS to buy Swedish hasbeens and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t do it earlier. I love them. So comfy!

Best buys for the last little while are lip primer (MAC) which makes my super bright lip pie stay put for ever. Seriously life changing. I’m also loving ,my resin drop earrings by local Melb gals Flock Curiosity (Etsy) and I’ve been wearing one of my The Wandering Eye Turkish black diamond peshtemals (Etsy) as a wrap for the in-betweeny spring weather.

I love Metalicus as well but sadly most pieces don’t fit me.
I can’t justify spending $50+ for alterations on a dress that I have just paid $150+, especially when it’s just stretch material.
They are meant to fit size 8-14, but I believe they are mostly a size 12-18.
I wish they would return to their original sizing, or make a smaller range.

Oh bummer that’s so annoying. They need to have a regular and a body tight collection – I used to wear their body tight stuff for layering but I agree it’s all much to big now.
