How On Earth Do You Become A Blogger?

How On Earth Do You Become A Blogger?

his is a question bloggers get asked all the time. And it’s a totally fair enough question because blogging is weird man. My business wife Chrissy (from Hair Romance and Mr & Mrs Romance) and I found we were constantly answering questions about blogging (which we love doing!) se we decided to create a one day workshop for Aussie bloggers, small business owners and solo creatives wanting to improve their internet chops.

the blog society

We started doing Little Blog Big workshops in April this year and so far we’ve brought our day of internet domination to Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. If you’re an Aussie blogger, small business owner or solo creative who’s looking for a kick up the bum to get the internet working for your business, this is the course for you.

It’s a full day event with four awesome learning sessions, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, networking drinks, goodie bags, access to a room full of other bloggers and business owners you can make friends with and a whole day with two professional bloggers who love to chin wag about the ol’ internets.

The details for each event are here –

Melbourne – Saturday 10th October in Collingwood/Abbotsford – SOLD OUT

Brisbane – Saturday 7th November at Silo in Paddington – (extremely close to sold out)

Canberra – Saturday 14th November at WOTSO in Dickson

Sydney – Saturday 28th November at WOTSO in Pyrmont

little blog big

You know when you’re at a party and it’s a bit lame but then someone shows up with a vodka watermelon and a greatest hits of 1994 CD and it turns into the best night of your life?

That’s what Little Blog Big workshops will do for you. Stop standing on the sidelines of your internet dance floor and come tango with us.

Are you a blogger? Link to your blog in the comments – I’d love to meet you!

Research has shown that people who subscribe to the Smaggle newsletter and like Smags on Facebook are more likely to win the lottery. That’s probably not true but why take the risk?

I can honestly say, it’s such a good investment in your blog. Even just being in the same room with other bloggers is so valuable. Just a heads up, the early bird ticket sales end on Sep 15th!

Gosh I loved your workshop! Can we please go out for drinks while Chrissy & Jim are here? Otherwise I might have to just crash your workshop….

I so hope I can make it to your Sydney workshop. Being a new mummy blogger means I also have new mummy responsibilities (and a little man who loves him some booby). Fingers crossed he won’t hold me captive for the November date!

What a bummer 🙁 just found this site – missed the event. Can u add me to a list the next time your running a blogging event in Melbourne?

  13. Would love to attend, but living in regional (think remote) Victoria makes that challenging. Maybe next year. And yes I do have a newbie blog, would love you to make a visit.
