ou guys know the drill with these. If you love them, you have to comment on them, otherwise they don’t work. Basically I tell you three things I’m loving right now like a movie or some kind of awesome snack and then you guys tell me three things YOU’RE loving right now and then I copy you because awesomeness makes the world go around. Right? Right.

Here are three things that are the bees knees…

Cop Car

This is one of those movies that I totally didn’t want to watch because it sounds boring but Mr Smaggle made me watch it and I’m so glad he did. It’s a small movie with a tiny budget and a very small cast but it’s just spectacular. It’s one of those movies where you get to the end and you have no idea how any of the characters ended up where they are. It’s one of the best movies I’ve seen in ages. This movie has been added to ‘The Firefly Incident’ category of film and television because I refused to watch Firefly for years. It’s labelled as a ‘space western’ and to me that sounded like the biggest snoozefest on earth. One day Mr Smaggle sat me down and forced to me watch it and I almost cried with regret immediately. Firefly is amazing and so is Cop Car. Watch them both and don’t be a sook like me.

Bubble Tea

I recently went on a date with my old housemate and we went to our favourite mall cinema. There’s a bubble tea joint right outside and I had my first bubble tea in about 8 years. Red milk tea with pearls. It’s was the best. It’s like a weird milkshake with yummy chunks in it. I used to hate bubble tea and now I’ve replaced dinner with bubble tea at least twice this month. Give it a go. Bubble tea forever.

99% Invisible

We all know I’m a total podcast junky but one of my biggest issues with podcasts is the length – most of them are just too damn long. Sometimes I need a little ten minute number to listen to while I go for a spin around the supermarket. 99% Invisible is a fairly recent discovery but it’s just brilliant. They’re tiny little episodes about really interesting things. This week I learned about graphic design on money, how we figured out how diseases spread and racism in middle America in the 1920s. It’s fascinating. Highly recommend it.

Truffle salt ( actually bought from organic grocer Ferry bldg in San Fran ), an investment but a little goes such a long way, on tomatoes or scrambled eggs esp
Old school Collins paper diaries are great and complement my iPhone calendar
    T2 French earl grey tea

Truffle salt sounds amazing! I’ve also got a Get Shit Done notebook I use as a compliment to my electronic diary.

Loving at the moment – 1 my oestregen cleanse. Almost instantly started sleeping properly again (it’s been years since I have slept well). So yay for that. 2. My son put me on to Firefly and well, Nathan Fillion, nuff said. Only one season though, boo hoo. 3. spring loaded drawer dividers – makes my organised little heart sing when I open my drawers now! xx

Where did you get these magical spring loaded drawer dividers? They sound amazing! I’m so sad there’s only one season of Firefly. When I’m a millionaire, I’m paying for a new season to be made.

Ridiculously expensive here – I got mine from Amazon and even with fairly hefty postage they were still cheaper than here. Quick, go the the Container store while you are in the US and grab some! xx

  3. My three favourite things would be:
    1. my dogs they just chill with me and want nothing from me in fact I am the needy one in this relationship!
    2. silence – not complete silence just the silence that is being alone in the house with no one else!
    3. chocolate I think really this is self explanatory.

I like silence in small doses, then I start to go a bit batty! Mr Smaggle loves it though – can’t get enough.

  4. 1. Watching 11.22.63 on Stan and finding a new appreciation for James Franco
    2. My hair. I know it sounds up myself but it’s been so long since I really enjoyed my hair to the point where I put my neck out flicking it about. For reals. I had to go to the physio and everything.
    3. My bubby girl starting to click on potty training just before her third birthday on Monday. Which is a public holiday here in ADL. YAY.

I love James Franco, he’s so cool and weird and there’s nothing in this world like having great hair. Mine has been pissing me off for years so I’m totally jealous.

    1. I just started drinking Match green tea. Its a powder you mix with a bit of hot water, I then add warm milk and it is amazing! It has even replaced my coffee.
    2. 1/2 Avocado in my morning green smoothie is so bomb! My go to recipe is water, bunch of kale/ spinach/ romaine, 4-5 celery stalks, bunch of cilantro, juice of 1 lime, frozen banana and avocado. It is good and good for you!
    3. Commando g-strings. The most comfortable ever. And they wash beautifully.

Oh I’d love to try Matcha tea – you’ve inspired me! I love the idea of putting of avocado in a smoothie but they’re so expensive and for me it’s a waste of delicious avocado. I’d much rather have mine on toast with salt and pepper!

    1. No Lights No Lycra- a freestyle dance class where you dance in a pitch black room for an hour. It’s a bit like going to a club during more acceptable hours, and without the sleazy guys trying to pick you up. And you really can ‘dance like no one is watching’…because they can’t see you!
    2. Fuller House- I’m loving the Full House reboot! It’s cheesy, tacky, and everything you remember Full House to be, and more! How rude!
    3. Pineapple Cadbury blocks- I haven’t managed to track one down yet, but apparently these have been released, and it is my mission this weekend to get my hands on a block or two!

Oh my god how terrible/awesome is Fuller House!!! I watched 2 episodes though and I had to tap out it’s so bad.

Oh bubble tea… its been ages since I had one. Must rectify asap! My 3 things:
    1. Essential oils. Using them daily in so many ways. Frankincense is my fave lately.
    2. Mint twirls!
    3. Hot cross buns. I’m stocking the freezer!
    Xx

    1. Afl season starting again, know total Bogan tendency but I have a habit of getting invested in anything sport related.

    2. Coco whip. Not new I know but basically ice cream that doesn’t have the added sugar dairy guilts…. nuff said.

    3. FINALLY downloading a podcast app.
I fly at least once a week… game changer!

Oh get into podcasts you totally need to! 99% invisible is awesome and so is Serial. Also Straight and Curly isn’t too shabby. 🙂

    1. Went to an AFL game for the first time in ages and I loved it – makes a nice change from watching the games at home with Mr and it has gotten me all pumped up for the season to start!
    2. Watching Hart of Dixie – a friend insisted I give it a try and I thought it sounded terrible, but I adore it and even bought the season dvds which I don’t think I’ve ever done before.
    3. Madame Flavour Mint Choc Rooibos. Best tasting tea in my world, better than dessert by a mile!

Choc Mint Rooibos sounds incredible. I have a cup of Rooibos tea every night! I loved Hart of Dixie. It was really cute.

    1. Vikings (der, who hasn’t found this awesome show on Netflix yet?)
    2. All the documentaries on Netflix (esp. David Attenborough’s of course…this was a Smaggle recommendation I followed up)
    3. Home made 3 ingredients cheese scrolls…roughly equal parts SR flour and greek yoghurt..mix into a dough, press out flat, sprinkle on cheese, roll up then slice and bake. Crazy easy, crazy delicious.

OMG Firefly! I had never heard of it and my friend was like “what???” so we binge-watched and now I’m sad there was only one season…

    1) It’s not perfect, but enjoying the one-liners from the Ranch on Netflix.
    2) Car boot sales – so great for clearing out junk from my life before we move!
    3) Gozleme from Aldi – easy and tasty! Now missing from the frozen food section near you (WHY do Aldi tease me like that?)
