eekends are magical but sometimes you need a little inspiration to do something particularly excellent. I’ve got a few ideas that will keep you from spending the entire weekend in your underwear on the couch… unless that’s what you want to do in which case go forth and prosper my child! It’s winter. It would be rude not to. Here are 7 bloody lovely things to do this weekend…

Yogurt cheesecake

Why don’t you…?

1. Make a strawberry cheesecake? Have a small slice every afternoon for tea until it’s all gone?

2. Use the line ‘Kiss me if I’m wrong, but dinosaurs still exist right?‘ on the next cute person you meet?

3. Colour in a colouring a book with crayons?

4. Pour a little Bailey’s into a peppermint hot chocolate for a delicious and cozy night cap?

5. Have a handstand competition in the back yard?

6. Listen to your favourite love song and pretend it was written for you?

7. Host a poker night? With chips and beer? Whisky? Mini hamburgers?

What are you getting up to this weekend? Mr Smaggle and I are off to Bendigo to see the Marilyn Monroe exhibition… and so I can buy all the yarn from Bendigo Woollen Mills. I’m beyond excited. I’m going to make Mr Smaggle a waffle stitch scarf! It will look like these but longer.

I’m working away like a wee little monkey on my beginner crochet course – I’m launching at the end of the month. If you keen to learn to crochet sign up to my crochet email list. I’m dead set so excited about this. I want everyone making arm warmers and granny squares by July!

Have a very beautiful weekend!

Ooooh How was the Marilyn exhibition?

I’ve also signed up to your crochet email list 🙂 My mum taught me ages ago but I cannot remember how to anymore.
Kind of embarrassing seeing i’m a textile designer :P… but really I mostly deal with print and weave, I really should add crochet to the repertoire.
Cant wait to be making granny squares by July.
