ecommendations are the best. I won’t do anything without asking my friends/Facebook first. What book should I read next? Where should stay in Italy? What should I have for dinner? Should I get a tram or an Uber? God bless the internet. I haven’t wasted my time on a decision in ten years. I recently took to Facebook to get some beauty recommendations and I turned up some pretty decent tips.
1. Anna – “I only wear nude and red polish. It saves me so much time deciding what colour to paint my nails and I’ve reduced my nail polish collection to two bottles.”
2. Hayley – “I get my eyebrows professionally waxed and tinted. It’s quick, it totally changes the shape and tidiness of my face and it’s very cost effective.”
3. Carolyn – “I have three easy hair dos that I rotate through out the week. My favourite is the sock bun. Takes 2 mins and looks great!”
This week on Straight and Curly, Kelly and I talking about beauty hacks and this week our listeners are our contributors! I loved this episode – I learnt some awesome stuff I didn’t know before AND I got a chance to have a mega rant about the unfair expectation on women to wear makeup and how more men should wear eyeliner because it’s SUPER hot.
If you want to chat more about today’s podcast episode OR you’d like to join in my feminist rant you can comment here (please do! I love a chat!) or you can join the Straight and Curly Facebook here.
