f you’re at work (or still in bed!) and you’re not quite ready to get stuck into the day yet, can I steal a moment of your time? Pretty please?
It’s time for the kind-of-annual Smaggle survey. It’s not even kind of annual. It’s just when I think it’s a good idea to do it and I have some sweet swag to give away. Which is right now, you lucky little armadillos.
I do these surveys every now and then to make sure I’m not totally boring the crap out of everyone.
The last survey I did was in 2015 and the biggest things I learned was that you guys love outfit posts and recommendation posts so I added both of those things back in on a regular basis. This September Smaggle will be 10 years old (how scary is that?) and over that time lots of things have changed, so it’s important to check with you guys to see that you’re still cruising.
Did you know that back in Viking times, marriage lasted for one year and one day? And each year the couple would have the chance to re-marry each other for another year? But they also have the chance to not re-marry the person? That’s how I feel about my Smaggle reader relationship – I want to give you the chance to give me some feedback so we can get re-blog-married for another year. So if you’re happy with our blog-marriage let me know. If you’re kind of happy but you wish you I wouldn’t leave my god damn socks on the floor, let me know. It’s all about communication, petals.
To sweeten the deal, I also have 5 rad prize packs for 5 random survey completers. Each pack will be a bit different but there will be a Balenciaga fragrance in each one and some other goodies in there too. Just as a thank you for giving me your time.
Note: You may not win all THIS shit but it will be similar to this shit.
You can complete the survey anonymously if you prefer but if you want a chance to win a goodie bag, I’ll need your email address. Also it’s totally open to everyone world wide but if you’re OS and you win there won’t be nail polish or fragrance in your goodie bag because of Australia Post reasons. Soz. I’ll send you some Tim Tams if you win. They’re excellent.
Just in case you need the survey link again it’s here. And here.
And here.
Okay I’m just being a smart ass now.
I’d also like to take this moment to thank everyone who comes to visit me at Smaggle. I sometimes forget just how many people read Smaggle because I always feel like I’m writing a letter to a mate and we’re just talking about rad stuff. I was chatting to a blogging mate about Smaggle the other day and she asked me if I have an exit plan and I honestly don’t. I think I’ll write on Smaggle in some form forever. I’ve done it for so long and it’s just a part of my week now. I also feel like my readers are my mates and I’d hate not popping in here and chatting with you guys every week. Why would I ever stop that? Madness I tell you. I love you guys. A lot. x
I also think this is the perfect time to de-lurk. If you don’t get very chatty around these parts, now is the time to pipe up! Copy and paste these questions below and answer away. I promise I’ll only judge you a little bit if you say you like pineapple on pizza…
What’s your name?
What’s your job?
If you had $5 left in the world what you spend it on?
Which song will have you clearing a wedding dance floor to make way for your sick moves?

Oh my god I’m doing an eating plan thing where the only treat I’m allowed is 90% dark chocolate and it’s now the thing I love most in the world. Have it every day. I’m the same with dance floors – it really doesn’t take much to get me up there.

If you had $5 left in the world what you spend it on? Been there, done that and I was frivolous and placed a bet on a horse…. IT WON! As a single mother at the time (lucky enough to have already paid bills for the week, food etc), it was exactly what I needed, to know that the universe had my back. I don’t even bet on Melbourne Cup, so I have no idea why I did it. Fate.

Survey all done! I would have liked to be able to choose a few options in the ‘Interests’ list, but there was one that really jumped out at me, so that’s the one I picked.
Also lots of fun to list the bloggers I read regularly (well, semi-regularly, some of them) as I really look forward to those posts.
Hope you get lots of information, Smaggle!-
