The Top 10 Most Best Things To Do This Week

ow is your week going my love? I do hope you aren’t too stressed with all the middle of the year stuff that seems to pile up in August. Take a deep breath, chill out and do something a bit lovely and a bit different. Here’s my list of the top 10 most best things to do this week… because most best, is the very best.

1. Polish all your shoes? Never step out the door without your footwear sparkling?

2. Keep a dish of old fashioned-cellophane wrapped candies on your coffee table?

3. Wear a sophisticated nude lip this week? With a subtle smokey eye?

4. Dab a little vanilla essence on a clean cloth and dust your shelves with it? Leave your home smelling like cake?

5. Dunk something in something else? A chocolate biscuit in your tea? A chunk of bread in your soup? A cracker into sour cream dip?

6. Eat kids food? Chicken nuggets? Cocktail frankfurts? Pop rocks?

7. Wear feathers? In your hair? As earrings? Hanging from a chain around your neck?

8. Have an in-between appointments visit with your hairdresser? Just for a deep conditioning treatment and a professional blow dry?

9. Make a summer wish list of things to do when the weather is super gorgeous? Have a night time picnic? Play football in the park? Go bike riding?

10. Plant herbs in anything pot plants? Old shoes? Milk cartons? Vases? Tea cups?

How are you coping with all the things right now? Are you doing okay?

I am doing OK. Much better than in past years when the inlaws have started their Christmas related drama in OCTOBER. Hoping this year will be drama free. I’m actually excited to be really busy socially, because I am one stir crazy mama right now!

Oh that must be lovely when you have little ones! I’m not going to lie – I’ve totally over-done it this November. I’m really looking forward to the first weekend in December. I’m going to sit inside my house and binge watch Netflix and crochet. 🙂

These are my kind of thought processes…I like them all and am planning to do fun out of the ordinary things in lead up to Xmas. I don’t submit to Xmas parties and having to ‘catch pup’ pre Xmas but I am putting a thank you brunch for colleagues in my home and going to the movies and keeping it chill and fun instead of frantic.

That sounds amazing! I reserve catch ups for people that I adore only. Otherwise I get too out of control. Canberra is hard though because all my favourite people are here and I end up getting very very busy!
