Daily Style – Stripes and knots

by Carly Jacobs
Spent the day sewing tiny leather ruffles for my latest jewellery collection. Have you ever hand-sewn leather for six hours straight? My fingers really, really hurt. * Dress from Tree of Life (I’ve really been feeling the 80′s side knot thing recently but in a more Botticelli kind of way…) * Skirt from Cotton On * Cardigan from Dotti * Tights from my ballet days * Shoes, Doc Martens from Melbourn Read the rest!

Daily Style – Slow morning…

by Carly Jacobs
Having a slow day… we got the morning off school because we had a fundraising jewellery auction last night. I was delighted that someone other than Co-Dependant Smaggle bid on my piece. Three people in fact. The girl that won them put them on straight away… it was pretty cool. * Red tights from Myer * Dress from Tree of Life * Doc Marten shoes from DFO * Men’s watch from Fossil * Necklace by Roo Read the rest!

Get in quick before winter!) * Vivienne Westwood for Melissa shoes * Ring Smaggle Made * Neck Read the rest!

Daily Style – Perfect Melbourne Weekend

by Carly Jacobs
I had the most perfect Melbourne weekend starting with a trip to the gallery to have lunch with Roomy Smaggle which resulted in much giggling and sexy note swapping with the cafe staff. I also saw the Ron Mueck exhibition. Everyone needs to see this, it’s exceptional. Following that I had an impromptu date with Mr Smaggle’s bestie drinking tea and chatting then had drinks and dinner on Brunswick Street Read the rest!

Daily Style – Bleeping hot!

by Carly Jacobs
I’m a self proclaimed summer hater and despite my irritation at people who state the obvious I’m allowed to indulged because a) I’m pretty and b) heat hurts me more than anyone else so here goes – It’s so bloody hot!!! I’ve spent the last week settling back into my Melbourne routine which includes Monday night swim/sauna/spa/gossip sessions with Roomy and Co-Dependant, lots of t Read the rest!

Daily Style – Back with Browny

by Carly Jacobs
Back working with Browny… can you tell? Her photography is so distinctive. It’s lovely to be back sharing our salads, sending each other stupid emails and allocating each other hideous ‘boyfriends’ as we walk around campus… * Shorts from Country Road – I’m almost regretting this purchase. I need to stop forcing pants. * Top thrifted in Melbourne * Shoes thrifted in Canberr Read the rest!

Gallery Saturday – Daily Style

by Carly Jacobs
I’ve had an incredibly busy weekend so I’m really sorry for being such a lazy blogger. On Saturday I made delicious wheat free treats and had some friends over for morning tea. Then we wandered around the art gallery and had a relaxing lunch and hot chocolate in the afternoon. Then I went out with the Smaggles for dinner for Mama Smaggle’s birthday. Today I did washing, baked a few slices and had Read the rest!
