How To Wear Your Top Backwards Without Looking Like An Idiot

W

ell maybe I do look a little bit like an idiot but I don’t really care. I bought this top last year from Target of all places and I really like it, but it just kind sat a bit weird at the front. I loved the pattern though and it was really inexpensive so I just grabbed but it never became a whole thing.

Then on the weekend I randomly tried it on backwards and now I’m sold. I wore it two days in a row I liked the look so much.

This outfit was worn for a lovely date night with my lovely friend. We went to see Joe Cinque’s Consolation which is a must see for any Canberra kids and then we had wine and tapas for dinner. Divine! Perfect day off to kick-start a busy week!

What have you been up to? And what are you wearing today? Did that sound creepy?

P.S If you’re looking to plan some hobby time why not try crochet? The next pattern launch is next week and the pricing is getting all switched up so if you’ve been sitting on the decision to join – join now!

  1. It looks good back to front! I’m wearing a thrifted chambray dress and rose gold brogues, since you ask.

I love it so much when people describe their outfits to me. It’s like a private Babaysitter’s Club book. Love the sound of rose gold brogues.

        “It’s like a private Babaysitter’s Club book.”

        Ha! That’s a perfect description.

I’m wearing shabby clothes and cleaning the apartment today: a slim-cut oatmeal sweater, dark flared low-rise Ann Taylor jeans that felt very stylish when I bought them years ago, a brown studded belt, and dorky beige sneakers. Low-rise jeans are the devil, never let me buy them again.

Ha! I love this description. It actually sounds a lot more stylish than you let on.
