What To Wear On Weird Days

What To Wear On Weird Days

ou know when you wake up on a weekend and you have absolutely no idea what you’re going to do that day? It makes getting dressed really bloody difficult. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed zero tolerance for being uncomfortable. I’m also a real joiner. Like if I’m with a group of people and they’re all ‘Hey let’s climb that tree!’ I’ll be totally up for it. Not because I want to climb a tree, because I want to be involved.

Spontaneous tree climbing adventures don’t happen that often but you never know and that’s why I’m subtly dressed for adventure all the time. What if I need to chase down a thief who stole my bag? Or what if I get invited on an all expenses paid trip to France and I need to leave immediately? I want to look semi-presentable always but I also need to be able to fight off zombies and/or sleep in every outfit I wear.

This outfit was worn for a very serious crochet session on the couch, a walk to the shops to grab a coffee, dinner with some mates and helping my friend stack her car full of boxes. Do you see what I mean? It was day of very varied activities and I freaking nailed my outfit for comfort, appearance and functionality. I know I keep going on about it but small victories just make my day.

What’s your go to outfit for weird days? Do you have an ‘I can handle anything in this!’ outfit?

I’m pretty much a jeans and t-shirts girl nearly all the time, but when I know I’ve got a big day ahead of me I put on my Wonder Woman undies. Then I know I can handle anything.

  1. […] If you’re a dress wearer, get yourself a light, waterfall style cardigan. It’s super flattering at the back and adds a bit of interest at the front. Tigerlily have great light weight ones for summer and spring that go well with solid basics. This is my favourite waterfall cardigan. I wear it all the time.  […]
