Delicious things to do on a rainy day…

* Get out  your wellies and your umbrella and go for a big stompy walk. Jump in all the puddles you see and make sure you get really wet and muddy. And then go home and have a hot bubble bath.

* Have a shower and put on some super clean and snuggly flannelette pyjamas. Grab a blanket and snuggle on the couch watching DVDs of your favourite TV show.

* Put on a pretty frock, some heels and a frilly apron and spend the afternoon baking treats.

* Sit by the window and read with rain trickling down the glass outside.

* Make pumpkin soup and eat it with crusty white bread and butter. Oh and just to let you know, carbs don’t count when it’s raining.

* Drink some red wine and play a game of Scrabble instead of watching TV.

* Cuddle a cutie. Find a dog/cat/baby/lover and have a big delicious cuddle session.

* Drink milky tea all day.

I Sorta miss the rain, after living in portland and seattle for most of my 30 years I moved to San francisco a year ago and It doesn’t rain much, which is nice, but i miss it sometimes. It’s fun to do all the things you mentioned in the rainy season. Thanks for the reminder!!

I really love the rain. I do *1, *7 and *8 the most when it’s raining. But tonight I didn’t. It was like really storming out here tonight. A lot of thunder and more thunderbolts. So I was sitting on my window-sill, watching the rain and thunder. After a while I got tired and went to bed, but the thunder went so hard, that I couldn’t sleep haha. And it’s a bit frightening to me. Last year a house across the road, caught fire because of a clap of thunder. Iecks

Jocelyne – We had a really lame summer here last year so I am actually looking forward to going swimming when the warmer weather comes around

Nicoleeee – Oh I’m jealous! Our produce is pretty yucky at the moment. I would love some strawberries on a picnic!

Sam – I know! I love thunder as long as it doesn’t keep me awake…
