Straight & Curly Podcast is Back…

Straight & Curly Podcast is Back…
Carly Jacobs

Some of you may know that as well as Smaggle (and Crochet Coach!) I also co-host a podcast called Straight & Curly with my dear friend and fellow self-improvement enthusiast Kelly Exeter.

We took a break over the Christmas holidays (because I had a baby!) and we were all set to start recording again in February of 2019. In January this year, Kelly’s husband passed away in a tragic accident. I won’t attempt to say anything about that on her behalf because it’s too devastating to even comprehend but you can read her beautiful words about her Ant here and here.

As for the podcast? We put it on hold. Kelly had far important things to think about and I didn’t want to pressure her in any way. We did two catch up episodes in June – one for Kelly and one for me. And then we waited to see what would happen.

Slowly, organically and happily we found our way back to the podcast and we’re currently recording our next season. Today is the first episode. It’s a catch-up episode about how our lives have changed and what self-improvement method’s we’ve employed now that everything is different.

You can listen to it here or on your favourite podcast app.

Regularly scheduled programming will resume next week!

It’s so good to be back.

    Thanks
    for being back,
for taking the time to update us on your lives – which I personally think about regularly, just as if we had coffee from time to time, then not for 9 months!

Welcome back! Completely understandable reasons why you guys took a break, and I’m glad Kelly is on the mend after such a difficult time. But I’m glad to have you guys back in my podcast feed again. 🙂

I don’t follow ANY podcasts, but I do listen to yours and I support all that is happening in both of your lives! Life is hard! I do have a question about a book that you mentioned WAY back in your first episodes- it was about cutting sugar out for good. Might I have the name of that book?! Can’t wait to catch up with your episodes. All the power to you guys!
