* Sprinkle a little perfume on every letter you send?

* Burn fragrant oils in your home? Make people sigh in satisfaction when they breathe in the scent of Lillies? Jasmine? Geranium?

* Wipe vanilla oil over the walls, bench tops and cupboards in your house? After you’ve finished cleaning? To celebrate a job well done?

* Explore potpurri?

* Burn a lavender candle at bedtime to help you sleep? A few drops of oil on your pillow?

* Choose a base scent such as citrus, rose or vanilla and make this your trademark? Change scents every few years but always have that familiar base?

* Line your wardrobe with scented paper? Make your underwear smell like a florist?

    My big sister taught me that it doesn’t matter HOW foxy a person is if they smell bad. I was a stinky young tween at the time, she tried to save me from myself.

    Do you (or your readers) know of any vanilla oils/perfumes that don’t smell too much like musk of chemicals? I LOVE vanilla.

    The perfume samples in magazines are good to put in the undie drawer too 🙂

  3. YES! I actually already do every single one of these things!

    @Rebekah – the soy candles that they sell at markets have a lovely subtle scent – the vanilla ones are exactly like vanilla essence – heavenly!! 🙂

    I wouldn’t do that. I am pretty happy that at least my home is one of the rare place which are not scented.

    Most of the people are using too much perfume, you can’t smell them. If you smell bad than even perfume will not help … you should try a shower. But at one place you should smell like the real person you are, and also give your scent the possibility to rest, so you can smell the ocean and really natural flowers.
